I think alot we be determined by how the game goes. If Tigers get a big lead Payton will not play much.

If they've got a big lead, then Payton has hit 2k, unless Oak Hill just loads up to stop him and then they simply don't matchup with Waverly's Wrs at that point.

Exactly, if they load the line to stop Shoemaker Waverly will eat them up through the air.

Probably 250-275 & 450-475

No disrespect, no way. Not at 155lbs. He’s a good back, with crazy skill, but if he’s doing that on squat and bench he’s the strongest pound per pound back in America and should be in the Olympics

I have the picture someone sent me from the meet in Northern Ohio last February. It was a week after basketball and he squated 425 according to the sheet. I'm too dumb to load the picture on here and maybe they inflated the numbers and obviously you won't take my word for it but 450/250 is spot on.

How's his knee doing?? As I was watching the game couldn't help but see him come off limping pretty good there in the 3rd quarter and the trainer looking over his knee. Didn't look serious but with his running style a knee being dinged up is not a good thing

The young man is a flat out football STUD.
Much of the yardage he gets is after initial contact and many times dragging defenders for additional yards.
Once he hits the open field forget it, most defenders won’t catch him.
His field vision is incredible and shiftiness is amazing.
And he plays some pretty awesome defense as well. The pic 6 last night was just a matter of time and we all saw it coming. Even Gallipolis radio sitting next to us in the press box was talking about it coming.

Not sure when he hurt his knee initially, maybe against Wheelersburg or Minford. Was def. before the Oak Hill game. Obviously it hasn’t slowed him down too much. At this point of the season it’s the Trainers “joy” to keep these kids going.
Patch em up, ice em up, treat em up, keep em going. Waverly has one of if not the best athletic trainer in Lauren Breitenbach. Her care for these young men are amazing and the job she has done for Shanks has been incredible.
