The first TD pass they scored on was a joke no where close to a catch and the pass interference they called on 3 n 10 like it the 3rd I believe when Minford was down 3 was an even bigger joke and then they scored on the same drive.

They don't trust the kicker. He's missed too many.
They had 3 kickers. Nobody can make an XP?

Falcons losing again. What’s issue with this situation. Lose to Oak Hill and then Waverly.

While any loss is bad a loss to Waverly can be understood. Oak Hill loss is purely due to the HC. Risner touched the ball once against Oak hill. even after burning Burgs D on a 5 yard out route for a td and tonight I believe he touched the ball and made plays.

Minford had their chances to hang with Waverly and go ahead before the half, but got stopped on downs when they had it 1st a goal. Way to many missed x-points. Minford had some bright spots, but No answer for Mr. Shoemaker and that was the story of this game. Congrats to Waverly on the win!

Last game of the year on Falcon turf, Minford get yourselves ready to destroy Valley!

Why not let the Risner kid kick? PP&K champion.

He did, but he's also playing both sides of the ball, and the O-line on special teams is pourious. The XPs were blocked, same as FG at end of 2nd-half. Can't really blame the kicker for that, but it goes on his stats.

Minford is now at the 9th spot in Region 19. If they don't get their heads ready for Valley, this season is over. That would be a huge let down.

Valley is beat up bad! Many starters out for the year and might have lost another tonight. I read they only had 33 total yards tonight

MInford put themselves in this situation and now they have something to prove. Valley and Minford, throw the records out the window, it a rivalry game. Minford has the talent, its comes down to the execution by the kids on the field in clutch situations. I really don't think it's anything else but that.

One bright spot was they got the TE involved on the pop pass/ Z-Curl route tonight and Waverly didn't have an answer for it.

This win should help secure a home field playoff game for week 11.

A must win for a shot at hosting a first round playoff game. Shoemaker for nearly 200 yards rushing and a limping Shanks throwing something like 22-30 for over 200 yards and 2 TD’s. I think he still only has 1 INT toss on the season.

The Tiger defense stepping up to stop Minford right before halftime and blocking the FG as time expired was big.
Waverly scores on opening drive of 2nd half very big.

Interesting exchange of events when Waverly got the ball back with 3:30 to play up 31-22.
3:23 Waverly 2nd & 6 at their 47 after Shoemaker run - Timeout Minford (1st)
3:15 Waverly 3rd & 3 at the 50 after Shoemaker run - Timeout Minford (2nd)
3:07 Instead of another Shoemaker run to pick up the 1st down or at least force Minford to use their last timeout Waverly calls a pass which was incomplete and Shanks nailed by a late hit (not called). Shanks is helped off the field and Waverly calls timeout.
3:00 After the timeout Waverly runs Shoemaker on 4th down and is a yard short at the Minford 48.
Waverly used up just .23 seconds and Minford still had a timeout left.
2:26 After a couple plays Shoemaker picks off a pass at the Tiger 41.
2:05 Ward in for a limping Shoemaker tales it 52 yards to the house showing his speed down the sideline to put it away.

Waverly offense with a balanced attack tonight but the defense still suspect. Absolutely no pressure on Vogelsong-Lewis and maybe that was by design but he lit up the Waverly secondary because no DB can cover guys for 10 seconds. Tigers did do a good job containing Vogelsong-Lewis.

Waverly cant take Oak Hill lightly next week. Tigers with a must win to host a playoff game.
