Portsmouth is much better than they were early in the season. I think we will need to change the game plan for Ironton though. I believe they will definitely have the speed to keep us inside the tackles and it will be interesting to see if our line can get the needed push to move the ball up the middle.

Ironton is clearly the better team, but the Trojans aren’t doing themselves any favors. Duncan hasn’t been his best tonight, and the play calling per usual is predictable. Defense is playing well against the run. But leaving your guys 1v1 against Perkins with no safety help over the top is honestly just flat out bad coaching. This game will have a running clock soon after the 2nd half starts.

Portsmouth play calls is their own worst enemy like always , until we change head coaches this will only get worse.


I went from ready to bet 100 bucks we would not get beat by 30 to willing to bet we get 60 put on us,just on our coach alone !!!

Trojans are off to a rough start indeed but I think we're also starting to see the Ironton team capable of state championship potential. So far this season we haven't seen that against better competition but tonight they have played outstanding and that's just the truth. As mentioned the Trojans aren't doing themselves any favors but Ironton is definitely showing off their talent.

Well I will say one thing, if Ironton or the burg wants to have a chance to beat prep they better step up their game big time because if either one of them do then they have the weakest region in d5.

True, I'm just saying that if prep don't beat either one of them very convincingly or just straight lose to them then that's what this region is all about.

This was a rough one to watch. I had to leave early. I thought Portsmouth would of played better. Horrible quarterback play and terrible play calling. One positive was the Trojans shut Keyes down. He was a non factor.

Portsmouth flat out got out coached ,the games he did win was games he had more TALENT , spring valley lost due to bad play call , Gallia lost do to bad play call ,west flat out thumped us because we wasn't prepared.

Wrong kids in wrong positions because of favoritism,all year long !!!


He will get it handed to him in round 1 of the play offs !!

Ironton is good but beatable,if you have a half way decent coach!!

Even if their coach is the most classes coach in the league,it's just who he is
