I don’t agree with the fighting, but the stop is what everyone is complaining about? Good grief, I went to three 7 vs 7’s that Ironton attended. I seen way worse stops than that at every one of them, against Ironton, other teams against other teams and so on.

It’s not just this one play though. The play before 24 Williams for Ironton pushed a Portsmouth kid down well out of bounds, he got knicked up on that. The next play the one in question you can see him push the same Portsmouth kid down from behind by the back of the head, also on the same play 15 for Ironton is seen tackling a different Portsmouth player by the head. Yes the Portsmouth player visibly frustrated tossed the ball at the Ironton player (not very hard) and it broke loose from there. 24 for Ironton can be seen throwing punches in said video. This garbage was occurring all night and not being stopped by the refs from what I’m told.

You’re wasting your time trying to have an open and honest discussion about this; video evidence means nothing to him. Take the advice of TigerBob and just block this guy.

C) Portsmouth isnt use to aggressive teams that play with an edge and portsmouths lil jimmys and jimmys mommy got upset by it

D).The portsmouth player that threw the ball at the Ironton player should likely face a week one suspension for his poor conduct.

E) Portsmouth coaching staff needs to create a more disciplined program.

Visitor side video shows number 24 from Ironton throwing the first punch to the back of the head of Cameron Williams when the play started causing him to fall, Cameron was Portsmouth's freshman QB last year. Then you see in the same play a different Portsmouth player throw the ball in the face of an Ironton player, in contrast to the punch wasn't that bad but non the less still shouldn't have happened, following that you see the fight break out. So in the end you could say both parties are just as guilty.

7v7 games are always physical and can tell that the Ironton kids have played in a lot of 7v7 games and expect defenders to set the tone with physicality and offense has to respond, sad to see that it escalated like that but definitely anyone coming after the Ironton kid is out of line that was a normal 7v7 play happens every 7v7. Should be a fun week 10 match up

My student athelete is new to the region and already we have observed how just putting on the orange and black and making the best decisions for us as a family, in this area, results in gossip and innuendo and straight up lies on this site by adults about underage children. Calling them recruits and creating narratives that suggest the child and that childs parents and the Ironton coaches have some nefarious conspiracy going all because whatever local school they are a fan of is not rising up to compete on Irontons level.
What is even more concerning is, it seems like the adults who run this forum not only approve of that conduct, but they also encourage it.

I will let you know, all that does is give us even more motivation to embarrass you and your kids and your school when we play you. To not only beat you, but to embarrass you and to rub it in. In just a few short weeks we get to light up the scoreboard and the plan is to plant the Ironton flag midfield at Ed Miller stadium in the same fashion that Baker Mayfield planted the Oklahoma flag at the horseshoe. Yeah I’m not sure I quite comprehend that post lol. I mean it’s all banter back and forth, I highly doubt people are that stressed about stuff they read online. That said how are you going to talk about feeling disrespected and it’s absurd for grown adults to talk a certain way and then literally talk that same way & say you’re going to plant flags & rub your cleats in logos. That would be Ironton coaches & parents teaching and allowing players to act classless, literally just what said poster wrote against lol.
