^^^^^^^^^^ But "by those numbers" it's the IRONTON fans that are supposedly going to be covering the additional distance in record time!! And the highway choices from here are either Rt 93 or Rt 7 - neither conducive to fast travel!

I loved the roar from the field last week... make it louder this week so I don't have to walk out on the porch to hear ya!! I heard the traffic was wild I would have thought there would have been better traffic control especially with those lovely lights on 78  they back traffic up on a normal day I can image how awful it was with all of you folks trying to get out... Good luck Ironton... Caglewis actually it'll be an almost 2 hour trip for Coshocton also... hubby travels that way home from hauling and he usually calls me from the chip plant and I know I have 2 hours until he pulls in....

Being In Florida, I just salivate at only a three hour drive to watch the tigers. I know its expensive in these times, but id be filling her up and rounding up some alumni friends i have re connected with via facebook.. wow what trouble we would cause.. hehe.. two more wins, ~crossing fingers~ im home ... sanford, fl to huntington wva, $39 each way... have to buy this sunday or goes up to 100 each way, so gonna buy and go home no matte what i believe.. need to visit mom and dad up in woodland... seashells from sarasota for mom, a tiger program for dad...of course someone will steal whatever i put on their head stone....

onb365 - I don't doubt the "1 hr, 55 minute" [almost 2 hrs as you said] part for Coshocton. It's the "2 hr, 2 minute" part for Ironton traveling 18 miles further that I question.
And I'm really not complaining, but my guess is that it takes considerably longer than that for Irontonians to get from here to there.

It's really not that bad of a drive to get there. I remember when I saw the sign that said, 'Nelsonville' I said, "Wow! we're already there?"

Ironton will bring so many people?
Sorry but little D5 Fredrickstown brought about 500 more people than I-Town did.
Heath and the Burg were about the same....
Ironton did however bring the best team last weekend!
See you Saturday,,,,Good luck Tigers - from a NY fan!

I didn't even go to Ironton and I have made the drives for virtually all of the playoff games over the years. Ironton shouldn't be complaining now, especially after having played in Cincinnati all those years.

Sorry, but I can get to Cincy in 2:30. its a good 2 hours to nelsonville and the drive sucks. There is nothing in Nelsonville. At least in Columbus or Cincinnati there would be things to do pregame. Also, I have never seen the mess of getting out that i did last saturday night. Why cant we complain? We've lined the OHSAA pockets for almost 40 years now. How about a friggin break?

This is the first year that NY has ever asked to host a playoff game as a neutral site and the OHSAA has given NY three games! Clearly, the OHSAA must like Boston Field hosting playoff games or they would not have given NY three games to begin with.

In the coming years, Boston Field is going to be a strong possibility for any playoff team in the southeastern regions in Divisions 4, 5, and 6.

The video from Saturday's game is now online. That includes the 4 plays from OT. I am really enjoying watching the defensive stand the Tigers made in OT. Of course, the 3rd play, Ironton picks off the pass to turn the ball back to the Tigers...just someone wasn't too sharp on the camera. Sorry. I love watching Preston and Monning running down Heath's QB on 2 & 8. Those two are on a mission on that play..

I've got another too that I'll probably put online later..however...no one does it better than Sam and Penny (Heightone Productions) and I'm REALLY looking forward to my video from those guys when they come out this year!

We only needed 30 people on IFC to hit 1,000 unique visitors. I had my fingers crossed but...we just fell slightly short. The 3rd time we've gone over 900 in a day this season.

For those of you looking for something to do:

http://www.hvsry.org/

http://www.athensohio.com/whattodo/inde ... &item=2997 Shopping in Nelsonville, all wares sold on the square are made in the good ole US of A. Not gonna find much of that in a mall.

http://www.ohiobikeways.net/adena.htm

http://consumer.discoverohio.com/search ... tail=68978 Ice Skating rink that I believe will be open soon.

So rather than throwing more money to Columbus, here are a few options for those of you with nothing to do.

Something else to consider for Saturday.

The Ohio Bobcats host the Northern Illinois Huskies at 2:00 in Peden Stadium. Both teams are bowl-eligible, have 5-1 conference records and 7-3 records overall. Good place to watch some good football.

GO CATS!!!!

By the way, I know many want to watch the other team from Ohio as they destroy the team up north...
