pembrook...well said. Football is football. Smash mouth or run home to mama. Put up or shut up.

BREAKING NEWS....Alder will forfeit the rest of the season. No chance for the Tigers to get revenge. 7 Alder players from the "D" side of the ball have now joined the WWE & UFC to take their throat punching skills etc. to television audiences world wide.

C'mon guys, do you want some cheese with that WINE?

Seriously I saw the Jackson and Welston game and Welston smashed them. Look at your coach he could not even make it at Rock Hill.................
Actually it was Wellston not Welston who " smashed " us. They were the better team that night. Ironton might be the better team Friday night. That is why the game is played, but we are quite happy with our coach. Since the Wellston game, I believe he has built a lot of confidence in our boys and has them prepared to do their very best each and every game.
Oh it sounds like it since the Wellston game were you all got smashed. Your opponents are only 8 and 22. I think any offense would do better. Come on lets seriously talk about how these teams Jackson has recently beat just does not have a very solid program right now. Ironton wins this one.....

I'm really looking forward to this game! It's a great stadium, the Jackson people have always been good to us (except back in 2005 ;-) ) and there's good parking too and really not that bad of a drive to get there. I'm sure Jackson is looking forward to hosting this game as it should bring good crowds, especially with the weather being what it is supposed to be.

oh, he's a master at laying the groundwork for anticipated losses alright. that's one of the things that makes him a good coach. i noticed that both boys played the game though.... at least up to the point where the outcome was obvious.

( i guess both of them had sore feet and that GYM floor was too hard for them to run on in practice).

02 You are somewhat correct, but wellston is worried about getting another win. Yes we hope to win out and hope to get in the post season it would be a big boost to the Rocket program and this coaching staff . They are trying to build a successful program and this would be a great start . Going 6-4 will be great in itself after only winning 7 games in three seasons regardless if they make the playoffs or not.

On the subject Ironton @ Jackson,
I have always been a Tiger fan . I like the way they play the game and the tradition. Like you said I have to pull for the Ironmen this time so that maybe ....just maybe we can play those same Tigers in week 11.

Good luck to the Rockets the rest of the year. I can definitely see them finishing strong, and possibly sneaking into the playoffs. Hopefully the Ironmen will give them as much help as possible.

If Ironton's line is pretty good, which i think they are, then they should make holes and any back can pick up yards. The defensive scheme will profile their strength and hide their weakness. Lutz has done this for a long time, with a lot of positive results. They should be fine; banged up, but FINE ! So, GO TIGERS !!!

Also, the combined record for the teams Jackson has played is 10-26. Ironton's opponents so far are 25-12. We'll see who wants it more Friday. Good luck to both and here is to an injury free game. I know some guys that are glad the "Ribber" is on the way to Jackson.

Get over it! All teams can argue that they have been a victim of a poor call by a official at some point in time. Officials are humans and do may mistakes. Only the official that made the call can say whether it was truly what he/she saw or the call was made up. The one thing that no one has mentioned here is the video does not contain audio. So we know what we saw, but do we don't know what was said. The OHSAA will not overturn a call like this, just too many unknown facts.

Yeah but this clown made mistakes all night. This idiot even tried to over rule the others that were officiating the game with him. This clown does not belong on the football field he belongs in the circus feeding peanuts to the elephant cause he was big as a elephant too.
