Great game! Hate for the Oaks to get beat that way, but I think they opened a lot of eyes tonight. Great job Oaks!

Question. If there was a 3rd overtime why was either team kicking a try after score. You must go for 2 beginning the 3rd OT

I thought that was the rule after 3OTs as well, mandatory 2 point conversion or maybe a team has the option to go for 1 point kick.....? Who knows, but both kickers need to get it together as those x-point should be automatic.

That's only a college rule.

And of course this is comparing apples to oranges, but somebody posted from Oak Hill game was theirs allnight, but had Minford nailed that extra point. None of the overtimes would of happened. This is high school football and this was two great teams going at it. Oaks can play ball thats for sure, but hats off to my Falcons for not giving up and coming back to win this game. Thank goodness Oak Hill is division V and Minford IV, cause I would hate to see a rematch.

Well, a win is a win. Minford came out and got themselves into a 13-0 hole really early in the game. They battled back and held the Oaks scoreless the remainder of regulation.

Both teams have very good running games and played good defense. #30 from Minford went in the game at LB and really helped shut down the dive and power running plays for Minford's defense. That young freshman became a man tonight and gets my vote for player of the game.

The clipping call against the Oaks was obvious and was a good call. Also, I dont know why Oak Hill's coaches were trying to call a timeout when they decided to go for two when they didnt have any left and that led to a delay of game penalty.

Both teams played really hard and I will give the Oaks credit they are a solid, well coached football team. Dont look for them to lose another game until they play Ironton and they just might surprise alot of people in that game.

Good luck to the Oaks the rest of the year and way to tough out a hard fought win tonight for the Falcons!
