Nope, we're hoping he is back as well. He was banged up early in the season too.

You know with the country in financial debt, Ebola, brink of war, amongst other crazy things, I'm sure fans of other teams are strong enough to handle a couple of pokes.

It's like the above poster said, it's burgfan. Com for a reason. No one has to listen. But I will tell you this, when I meet new people from anywhere in the area, I cringe when I tell them from where I graduated from. Usually the first thing they say is I hate burg people, or they're arrogant, stuck up rich people. Every single time.

Well guess what? I'm not rich and I would give you the shirt off my back. I laugh at and poke fun with the best of them and not afraid to own up to a mistake or eat some crow. I'm not perfect, I believe Jesus, I'm a family man, and I truly care for my community.
Glad to here that. But, as I have said on here before.. I don't think all Burg fans are this way. I have many friends from Burg. It's is the majority of them. The ones that I speak of know who they are.. if this strikes the core of a individual then; identity clarified!

And, I am the same.. I would give the shirt off my back to! You might not like the team that's on it! :) I own Burg shirts.. support family and friends that go there. My comments are not intended for all... just the snobs and aholes.

I believe you are allowed to practice but not play, however I'm not sure on that exactly.

#55 is a junior...looking at the roster, Valley has a total of 6 seniors, and only 2 or 3 of them see regular playing time.[/quote]

Who is the kid that someone stated was Chris Spielman' s God son?

 I am sorry. I never meant to offend you. And I would have to agree with wobycat. It's all in good fun. Can I bring you a donut? Also, I may give a vain opinion once in a while. It doesn't mean I am better than you, or that I have more money, pr that I'm a Snob. What really gets me is a middle aged man is getting his big boy undies in a bunch over a community of people he has nothing to do with. I live right around the corner from you man. I am a Burg grad yes. But a Dad first. The only one being snobbish around here is you. You chose to read this thread. It has nothing to do with you or your school. So please stop with the ignorance. We are talking about football here.

I understand there are people like that. But I think it's in all towns. But when one says burg people it's perceived as a collective bunch. One apple doesn't always spoil the whole. And there are more good apples then bad. Maybe I'm pessimistic

I know who you are.. that's why it never bothered me about you! Believe me.. if they were in a bunch over you.. you couldn't handle the ignorance this middle aged man is capable of! I agree stop with the ignorance! Your community is Sciotoville then.. your kids go to East or Burg?

Just to clarify things some. #55 is a Jr and he is an OT. He is around 315lbs.
The DT coming back is a completely different person who is very good as well. And yes, as far as game shape goes. He is ready and in game shape. This should help out the defense tremendously.

I watched him in that waverly game and was very impressed. Here I thought valley's line was small.

If Valley is healthy the West game is not a good barometer of this team !

Respect works both ways, but we will just leave it at that....and no game is a barometer of any other game IMO.

Valley 48
Waverly 21

West 14
Waverly 13

West 34
Valley 20

I still dont know why people compare games and common opponents....has no effect or anything on what will happen when 2 teams tee it up.

True. No disrespect to Valley because they have had a heck of a run. No one realizes just how hard that is to do 3 years in a row. Those youngsters playing up now have nothing to hang there heads about. They have done a fantastic job this year as well. Just think it is Burgs year to beat Valley.

I believe I am the only burg poster that said burg would destroy Jackson. Then I ate that crow.. So what.. If I say burg is going to destroy every1 they play, why does it matter? I have my opinion! If I come off as snobby oh well. People on here know me and know that I'm really not snobby. Lol Axe I think you are just upset that east is having a bad season with good talent. Its OK man next year will come.. As for this game I think it will be a defensive battle! Burg wins this year!
