LOL, don’t challenge me on the rules.
Rule 6-5-1 & a
Rule 6-5-3-a-1
Case book: pg 51, 6.3.1 Situation A
Drops Mic and walks away
Great. Now show me the rule book on how a player can legally hold a defensive player while the ball carrier was running with the ball. Because that happened three times during Ashland’s go ahead TD in regulation. Calls are always missed during a game. You can’t isolate one and say that’s the reason they were beat. Plus that crew is one veteran groups in the Lawrence county area.
Holds are subjective, and willing to bet you cannot give me off the top of your head the classifications of a hold. I have the film, ironically, I have the Ashland film and the Burg film. Funny the burg film deleted the punt hmmmm. And missing a hold is way different than butchering a muff, force on a kick play.
Oh, and I like how you wanted the “rule”, and once you get it you move to other excuses.
Lol. You breaking down film for penalties on a team you don’t root for is about as laughable as you looking up the rule.
Holds aren’t subjective, they’re illegal especially when a offensive player prevents the defender from making a play on the ball carrier, which is exactly what happened in three of the plays in that series.
And Who cares what the rule is? And who cares if they took it off their film? They didn’t do anything illegal except fall on a muffed punt. It wasn’t called. It happens. But it’s a weak argument blaming that one play for the outcome of the game. So weak.
