River Valley is NOT....I repeat NOT dropping football for soccer....that was a fantasy thread that was posted here on SEOPS, and has absolutely no merit to it. RV has a lot of there skill positions players back from last year, and will look to use the momentum from the season finale against Coal Grove last year as a building block into this 08 season. Hopefully a good game for us and you guys at Minford! Looking forward to coming to Minford!

RVRaiderFan...that is good to hear. The stadium at Minford has been renovated and is a really nice facility. Plenty of seating (all elevated) on both sides and the field itself is very nice.

It wasn't long ago when Minford was producing records like that. Just cause you went 8-2 and got waxed in the playoffs doesn't mean squat. One hit wonders. Step up and play Ironton!

It is amazing the number of years that both Ironton and Minford have both had football yet, they have never meet before. I think it is probably for the best.

Falcon Fan I remember you jumping all over Ironton for scheduling the Canadian team, so becareful of what you are implying.

Just don’t come on here and kick another program when it’s down. You wouldn’t like it either if it was done to you 20 years ago. I thought Minford went 3-7 a few year ago, could be wrong. Your schedule 'is what it is' and the kids from RV know what is going on and do have to show up and play the game. If they don’t show up and their football program is cancelled then you have a 9 game schedule, is that what you want?

If Minford does have 3 , 4 season of 7+ wins I think they should play Ironton, we'll see, though I'm not quite sold on you guys, I wish you the best of luck.

Falcon Fan was over on the Ironton thread running his trap about us scheduling a Canadian team, and where is Minford begging to play us. News for ya, I did play at the Tank, and I have pleanty mental toughness. And, its not one post its him, its him wanting to kick another when they're down, I do have ties to RV. All the while he's on an Ironton thread questioning our schedule?

research it ,i have been to plenty ironton games my familey is from that area. but i do not bash other on here the players read this.plus you have one of the best coaches in the state .and i am sure if u get this geek up over one persons statement. your mental tuoghness is not there .the coach would have you mow the flood wall to get you there.
