I have never had any trouble with any Ironton fan, player, or poster on here. Moreover I have been told by guys on our chain gang that Coach Lutz and his staff demand control on the sideline and are there to do their job and that is to coach footabll, nothing but class. Even in the meltdown the other night everyone was courteous and kind hoping that we could get healthy. Heck the gate keeper even allowed me to enter w/o paying for my oldest daughter who is 6 b/c she "knew how it was to take little ones to the games." However, the PA guy has always done that stuff, although I have never heard him taunt like he did when we had a player down, but the name game to him is expected, I have heard him do much worse with names. What a jerk!!!! Kinda guy that wrecks his car and nobody stops to offer him a hand.
bbfool, you are correct about Jackie getting the shaft if that happens??????? Also, your boy was missed badly this week but you and I both know that there are still other options to try even if he isn't there to put into the game. He was the answer but after Friday night anyone, ANYONE on the team could do better than that and the name game is the only answer. Nidday doesn't play that game like another poster said, he wants to win too much but unfortunately he isn't the line coach and ultimately doesn't have the final say as to who plays or doesn't. Like I said anyone could make contact and I would try someone that will make an effort rather than just watch it happen to his teammates.
YTB, sounds like you guys need to meet, w/o the youngens around! That is nonsense!!!! I have never seen anywhere that you have ever questioned anything Ironton and it appears that I never will, other than that clown.
On another note it is nice to see Big X back in action, he laid that guy out on the play that our QB got hurt on, nice designed play and a good block to allow him to get the first down. If only the rt tackle had made contact with his man .........................
