You know, cruel talk is one thing, but some of the stuff on the last 2 pages has been only in fun. I've been sitting here reading, and laughing my butt off! Hey I agree with the poster who says Nelsonville stinks. Just drive along 33 any day, right where the sewer plant is, and you can catch a nice whiff!!! lol! :122246 There must be some kind of chemicals in that there smell that gives our boys the boost they need to win football games!

Folks there's a real big difference between cutting an individual down for his job and making fun of a town that smells. What else can we do, if we can't laugh about it once in awhile?

GO BUCKS....BEAT THAT TEAM FROM "OVER THERE"!!! :aaaaa12

while i do hesitate to comment on the ineligibile player for the simple fact that i do not know a whole lot about the situation, and i am not one to spread slander by any means. i cant help but feel that the transfer of the papers that said that he could not play was out of the coaches hands, for the simple fact that only on coach (arno) really has any affiliation with the school. i dont know a whole lot about the system but i would think that it would be the administrations responsiblity to make the transfer, not the football teams coaching staff. i too know the kid but that really has nothing to do with the issue at hand. (again if i am mistaken please correct me)

GO SPARTANS!!!

You know I like how some Alexander fans get on here and try to say how nasty NY fans are and they don’t do that and they are so much better than that. Well I say WRONG I spent all my years at ALEX and graduated as a mighty SPARTAN but I remember talking the same crap and talking the same trash that we were going to be the first ALEX team to beat NY and that never happened. Now I have been a BUCKEYE and my children are BUCKEYE’S and it is fun to talk the trash from this side. It’s all in fun and we are all just fans, all my family is still in the Albany and Shade area and I still stay in contact. All I can say if you can’t take the good fun ribbing stay off and don’t log on and read it. I still have four little sisters that attend Alex and we have a lot of fun come football and basketball time giving each other a hard time.

May both teams have an injury free night and my Alex win out after NY beats them.

GO BUCKEYE’S

Atown; First of all let me say that a post like this from a so-called Spartan fan is a pretty harsh statement. I have not and never will slam my own team like this!!! Just chill out, it's a game played by young men. Give them your support ALL the time!!

GO SPARTANS!!!

AGREED! Not sure what happened to the spartans last night but they looked awful....I couldn't even stay to watch the end of the game. I too, hope the Spartans are more prepared for NY but I have a feeling I will be leaving early from that game as well I would like to wish both teams a good game and injury free game as well. I will still cheer for my spartans, but think this one will go to the buckeyes

Sports mom;
You get on these threads and chastize people for some smak talk, and you preach gloom and doom, and YOU can't even stay and watch the entire game???!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!! I have NEVER left before the final tick of the clock... I have been on the field and watched as fans left because we were getting beat This is VERY dissheartening I would rather be blind-sided from someone on the other team than our fans!! To you I say RELAX a bit, watch the game, THE WHOLE GAME, and support those young athletes no matter what the outcome!!!

I am happy they got rid of alexanderspartan because he was very nasty with his post. In todays world, fuel to the fire is not a good thing. There will come a day when fueling is going to lead to a death because of the rivalry between the two teams and the hatred that the fuel brings. I hope that these kids have good heads on their shoulders and don't come out to try to hurt anyone but each team tries to win the game. I look for there to be many hurt players after this game just because of this anger that is being shown by(suppose to be) adults...Be safe young men, play clean, play with heart and good sportsmanship...someone will win and someone will lose, let just do it with pride and not hatred..

No disrespect towards women or mothers, but for God sakes lady get off the baby talk. This is a site to have fun. Yes posters get too personal and mean spirited at times, but no harm no foul. Go back to watching your soaps and that @#$hole Dr. Phil because your useless post is making most of us want throw up your no bake cookies.

We're sorry your getting the cramps and things getting under your skin. As for a revenge game, I think not. N-Y just enjoys kicking the dog @#$% out of Alex. As for the playoff crack, gee I wonder when Alex will ever make the playoffs.

JUSTAFAN89, Just so you know there will be extra security posted at all entrances to Boston Field. They will search all AL...AL...AL... of the fans from over there and confiscate any BEANO that is found. The bean dinner before the game was our strategy for the first half. Second half strategy includes toilet paper and new skibbies.
NYBUCKSMOM HOW COULD YOU LET THE SECRETE OUT??? you need to move to the back of the bus now.

When the kids fit for helmets and they sign the paper this is what they are signing:

NO HELMET CAN PREVENT ALL SUCH INJURIES!!
Furthermore, I understand that participating in football may result in my accidental death, paralysis, (or not
being able to move your arms or legs) or possible brain neck injury that may lead to my permanent disfunciton
for the rest of my productive life.
I, the undersigned, have read the above and foregoing football helmet warning and understand the statements
therein.

Fact of the matter is that football is a violent sport and the other fact is the teams that are more physical tend to have better seasons. All of my coaches from the past would preach on physically beating up the other team to win. They lift, condition and train to be in better physical shape to do just that. I have seen my share of serious injuries in football but its known that this may happen each time they enter the field of play. My advice is if you think you are going to be very good in other sports such as basketball, This may not be the week you want to suit up...
Go Buckeyes!!!

nybucksI05 wrote:so sportsmom what your saying is we are going to gop out just to hurt people because of what is said on here? we are all just fans the players are told not to write or read anything on this site. and to the next thing what does it matter if alex is a bigger school? it don't so find some other useless info for us us. and to quote billy madison"what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul" thanks 0whatever

I am not saying that NY will just play to hurt someone..I know the kids are told not to read these but I know they do.. Both teams are reading these or hearing about what is being said.I remember someone saying they would post some of the stuff on the walls to make things more interesting.(not sure who said it but I know it was said) Knock me all you want... Maybe it is in fun..but after so much bashing it gets really, really old.. I said nothing about the size of the schools... that was someone else. Yep, I left the other night before the game was over because it was frustrating to watch a team that I know can play better then they did that night. We also wanted to beat the crowd. I do support the kids on the team. I might not stay until the game is over but I would have to say that there are many times that the group I sit with(most of us don't have a child on the field) cheer more for the kids during the game then most anyone in the stand... I realize that football is a physical game and they do hit hard, I just would hate to see a game full of injuries. Play hard but don't play nasty.. There is a difference...Good game to both teams.
