Burrows on a keeper. Athens up 41-20. Not sure on time left (3 mins or so?).

Wow. Athens put 41 points on a team that didn't allow more than 14 points in any game this season. Athens wins this region. Hands down.

Congrats Dogs. Will have another test next week with DeSales.

Side Note: Joey Burrow was in on deep prevent defense and he ended up getting an interception. So for the year, he had one interception on offense and one on defense.

41-20 Bulldogs I guess you are going to say they still do not have any defense!! Way to continue offense!! Both lines were great!! Way to keep proving it on the field week after week!

Do you mean reception instead of interception?

Athens left no doubt this year. Tri-Valley played them tough for almost 3 quarters. The supporting cast did get a lot better. Good luck the next 3 weeks from at Tri-Valley fan.

Impressive win for Athens over a fine Tri-Valley squad.

Congrats to the Bulldogs. Although Williams and Burrow rightfully get the plaudits, this win is a testament to an improved green and gold defense.
Both AHS and TV were improved this season. Bulldog "D" rose up against TV offense. The Scotties got more stops against the Bulldogs than anyone else, but couldn't capitalize on it.
Bulldogs have conquered their toughest test in Region 9 and should move to the final 4 finally, IMO.
