Would this be considered a upset if West pulls this off.
I know Valley is on a great win streak for the regular season but West has been steady this year no matter what the w-l record says.

Dr_Know wrote:One of these days West is going to beat Valley again. I don't feel like that day is this year, but it will happen again. When West does beat Valley again, this website will be overloaded with people flying out of Dry Run, Careys Run, Pond Creek, Brouses Run, Vaughters Run, and every other holler letting us know how they predicted it and that West is just too physical for Valley. They will recall the glory of the years before the turn of the century when their forefathers used to beat the purple and gold with great fury for 40+ years and showed great mercy by not completely squashing the Valley football program. Oh yes, that day will happen! It has been brewing and boiling to the point of explosion as the Indians have continually gotten lucky on the field, had help from officials and always out coached previous staffs to constantly pull off upset after upset. When will Valley learn that they do not belong in the same breath as the Siders? That day is coming my friends... When will it happen? I don't know, but we better brace ourselves! Every wrong prediction, every previous Valley win, and every positive comment will all be forgotten by Sider fans as they will begin a new era of dominance the likes of which the SOC has not seen!
Looks like that day is about to happen. Time for them West Siders to come out of the hollars and thump that chest. West played an error free game. Valley shot their self in the foot too many times and could never get in any rhythm.
But this will help West for playoff points.

Great game Coach Johnson and staff! Really gutsy play-calling. Valley had big mistakes on special teams, and a big 3rd down penalty that took a lot of momentum from the Indians. The Indians just couldn't stop the 3rd down plays...congrats West and good luck throughout the season!!

West wanted it and West got it...Congrats to the Siders

maniac66....After seeing valley play a couple of games this year and seeing some of the scores they've given up, I felt they wouldn't survive the season undefeated...I would say these two teams were evenly matched...I felt, after watching the Burg once, that the Burg would be a minimum of a 2TD favorite against the Indians...It could very well be more...JMHO though..that and a 1.69 will get you a cup of coffee at McD's..

The Indians will regroup!

Good game plan by West. Congrats to the Senators. The weather was a huge factor tonight. Valley will regroup and try to get on the winning side of things next week

I said earlier in the week that I was not impressed with Liberty Union, but with what theyre doing to Logan Elm, im inpressed with them AND West.

West played the perfect game tonight, no turnovers, a couple penalties. Congrats on a well played football game.

Valley has got to clean up the turnovers, mental errors(jumping offside on punt, getting punt blocked for TD, etc) great run at 36 games, keep chugging because you never know in the SOC, and of course the playoffs will be here before we know it.

Congrats again to West! Go Indians!
