even with sp loss and ironton loss there still ahead of ports west after next week

only way west is in is WIN

unless Minford beats LV (wont happen) west finished with 9.15 if Minford loss and 9.55 if Minford win

and 1 of sp level 2 teams win (4 chances) any of these flem ky , boyd ky, Lincoln wv, wellston , any of these 4 win they pass west and that's even if sp lose

must be something wrong with my math but this is the minimum guaranteed points after week 10 are according to me and joe eitel.
adena 9.35
portsmouth west 9.15
ironton 8.87
south point 8.70
westfall 8.40

i understand south point only needs one of these to go there way to get by west with loss
but which one are you picking.
lincoln county 0-8 v.s. river view 3-5
boyd county 1-8 v.s. tolsia wv 3-5
fleming county 2-7 v.s. shelby valley 5-4
river valley 1-8 v.s. fairland 6-3
wellston 4-5 v.s. vinton county 5-4

i understand it is probably going to happen that is why i have them like 4th or 5th likely to get in. but right now they are really in 8th place and someone must gain points to pass them. is all that i said. but maybe you were not disagreeing. and i misunderstood.

westfall 8.40

that may be true but eitel don't go in to details lol

2 of ironton level 2 oppenents have great chance of winning oaks should for sure and Russell game is toss up

sp would first have to lose and all 4 of those teams I mentioned would have to lose flem ky , boyd ky , wellston , and Lincoln wv

in theory yes I suppose u and eitel got it but anything can happen I don't see all 4 sp oppenents losing 1 is bound to win and oaks win

i did not notice ironton because i really think they will win and if they don't win in all honesty ironton or portsmouth west is not realistically getting in. probably neither is south point but they might end up with enough second level points with a loss to get in.

im with you on that I think u nailed it porst west and ironton lose then that last spot is either zane trace or sp

oaks are gonna win there game and that edges ironton over west pending Minford loss

sucks for west having burg as that last game there

Unioto (4-5) vs. Zane Trace (4-5) is a rival game. Unioto has been up and down all year just like ZT. Zane Trace had a few key players go out with injuries on Friday night in the second half.

Not sure if they are replaying the Hartley vs Cincinnati Withrow down their but it is showing up here on time warner and yes making the playoffs is awesome for the area BUT, after watching them go to a playoff bound D-2 Withrow team and absolutely destroy them not sure anybody wants to see them. They do nothing fancy at all and their spread offense is basically 2 w/rs next to the t/e and 1 w/r next to the other t/e, you couldn't put a piece of paper between the feet of their lineman and they r just filthy. You could lay Yao Ming on top of the offensive line and their whole team would be inside his length, that's how tight everything is, crazy explosive wing T so whoever does draw them gonna be a bad night for southern Ohio. :122246 :122246 :122246.

Still say this region comes down to Wheelersburg v Hartley. Ferry and StC will not beat either. Ferry throws the ball maybe 5 times, and the Devils don't have a strong passing game like last year. Their D will yield points. Fairland could be a problem. Hope Burg-Hartley is a regional final!

Ferry should get a first round win, after that I seriously doubt it.

Westfall is probably considered a slight favorite. It could go either way from what I have seen and heard about both teams.

1. Bishop Hartley
2. Ferry
3. Wheelersburg
4. St. Clairsville
5. Liberty Union
6. Fairland
7. Westfall
8. Zane Trace

The two SVC teams would be 5-5.

Still a lot of shuffling could take place tonight. Hartley vs. Ready and Martins Ferry vs. Bellaire could shake up the order of the top 4.

also Adena could win and the other 8 teams lose and that would put SP , IRONTON , PORTS WEST in a level 2 battle for points!!

From how I understand it as far as the top seeds go Hartley is locked in at the 1. If Martins Ferry wins they're the 2 seed and Wheelersburg stays at 3 and if Martins Ferry loses Wheelersburg jumps them for the 2 spot and Ferry drops to 3. Not quite sure about the 7 and 8 seeds and the 4, 5, and 6 are locked in as well.
