I agree. That would suck. I see a 7-3 (or even 6-4) Lucas team easily getting the #3 seed. Lucas v Trimble is my prediction for the Region 27 championship game if the seedings fall right. Their first round game last year was a real barn burner.
I can see a 6-4 finish, but hoping Waterford jumps them to 3 and Lucas to 4.Waterford will win out and they will pick up a lot of points of southern week 8 even tho they are D7 they have only 1 lose.Drew has Waterford finishing at 7-3 but that's wrong they will be 8-2 plus they have to play a D6 belpre that sits at 4-2 right to.it will be close.
As far as 5-5 goes...I don't foresee anyway River beats Lucas this year. River basically lost everything, and the Cubs returned a ton. Last's years game in Hannibal was literally stolen from Lucas by the officials. In my 30+ years of watching football, that game was THE most horrible, blatantly-one sided, disgusting, game-stealing officiating I have ever seen at any level. That includes last week's Browns game....lol. In saying that, D4 Harrison Central, D4 Cincinnati Aiken and D6 state-ranked Lima Central Catholic are going to be a tall order. We will see how it shakes out.
The last 2 are the ones I would say are 30-70 chance of winning, tonights game a 50-50 just hard to say about that team they have lost to some good ones.We new Lucas would be good this year they were juniors I think.

Any chance Berne Union could beat Prep tonight? Pasteur predicted them to lose by 24, but I feel they have a better shot than that. Am I off base?

Your as dumb as I thought you was first of all they get move ins bc they go recruit them and how do you run the same plays in peewee when you don't start until Jr high come on man stop with all that trash

FC was up 26-14 at half. Worthington Christian comes back to win in the fourth. 40-29. WC is well-coached, big line. Ugh... this one hurts.

On a different note, looks like Lucas is coming to Lancaster next season in week 9.

My vote goes to the Cats.
They are talented, deep, and well coached.
If they don't win the region it will be an upset IMO.

An upset? Lucas lost to Trimble by one point last year and both teams brought back a ton. Do not sleep on Lucas. Grover ran for 350 yards and 6 TDs last week vs D4 Harrison Central. If they played today, I would say it would be closer to a pick em than anything. IMO, this Saturday's Lucas vs Cincinnati Aiken game will shed more light on this region. Trimble lost by a point to Cincinnati Christian Hills who lost to Cincinnati Indian Hill by 26. Aiken beat Indian Hill by 9. As for Harvest Prep, who knows....their schedule is garbage.

HP will win out & be the #1 seed unless Lucas wins out. Simply due to schedule, Trimble can't catch HP but Lucas can. Lucas needs a win this week over 5-2 D4 Aiken, this would secure them a lot of points. They should be River in week 9 grabbing a decent amount of points. Now, the week 10 game vs. Lima Central Catholic is a long shot but if Lucas can pull it off, they should jump to #1 easily. IMO Lucas will lose to LCC, HP will stay #1 and Trimble/Lucas will jokey for #2 & #3 then end up playing in round two. That winner will go on to take the Region.

I agree. HP wins out. If Lucas wins this week (Pasteur has them by 3 so a 50/50 shot), and assuming they beat River and lose to LCC, they more than likely will beat out a 9-1 Trimble for the #2 seed at 7-3. Trimble's schedule is turning out to be pretty weak (62 of 108 in Division 7). A win vs LCC would definitely get Lucas the #1 seed. Keep an eye on LCC next week. They play 6-1 Troy Christian whom Lucas beat. This will give us an idea of whether Lucas has a shot vs them. It's all taking shape. Cannot wait to see how it turns out. Any way you cut it, THIS IS A THREE TEAM BATTLE FOR THE REGION 27 CROWN.

LCC has a bye this week. They play TC next Friday. But you're right, this game will give us here on the discussion board a little more insight. And I agree, 3 team race for the region.

My opinion, this region goes to Trimble or Lucas, unfortunately, its shaping up that Trimble and Lucas will meet in the 2nd round. If HP and Waterford meet in 2nd round, look for Waterford to win that one

Agreed. I could see Waterford getting past HP. Their scores and schedule do not impress me.
