Always going to be haters to nit pick and hold grudges. It amazes me that some of these players never came to anything until late summer or in August and they expected to start. Then their parents want to be mad at the coach, instead of not holding their son accountable. Either get on board for the team or stop following all together.

Coach will have his work cut out for him, but WCH has a decent foundation to build off of. This program isn’t as hopeless as Greenfield McClain.

Interesting interview. Regrets leaving........... Thought the grass was going to be greener on the other side, thought he was going to go and turn Marion into a "powerhouse" What was his record? 4-16. I was also reading in the article that he stated that he left because there wasn't enough kids in the weight room.. What a way to show you are a great coach and leader. Im not getting the numbers I want, so instead of going to battle with the ones giving you everything they got, you BOUNCE!! You then tell Marion Harding that you WILL end your career there.... 2 years of getting your A$$ handed to you and guess what.. you BOUNCE!!!! such a great hire!!!!

I think the hire was fine but I was not fond of the interview....blaming others instead of just saying I made a mistake I should have never left. Also saying "thought I could take the next step" I would argue WCH is a better program than Marion Harding. It's hard to emphasize loyalty on the staff when you bolted and took no one with you.... but I did hear he told WCH he will retire from there and no longer be looking for jobs.

I would agree. Probably should've never left but sometimes coaches think they can turn every program. No one went with him because of the drive. From GC area to Marion Harding is like an hour and 10 mins. GC to WCH is what 30 mins. So it would be crazy for coaches from WCH or GC area to drive to Marion just for coaching. WCH has a rich tradition with a small community (for now, definitely growing out in the area) Next step needs to gain numbers back and start working for FAC title.Fayette_Panther1963 wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 9:22 am I think the hire was fine but I was not fond of the interview....blaming others instead of just saying I made a mistake I should have never left. I would agree with the coaches not going to Marion it just wasnt feasable for them so cant hold that against him.First and Goal wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 9:52 amI would agree. Did Chuck bring back anyone from his first stint? Any guys from Eversons staff? Any new faces?
Re: Washington court house football
The Brookville and Washington CH series fell through.. the Blue Lions have week 3 open again. They should really reach out to Clermont NE and ask to schedule an ongoing series. They have the week open as well
