i thought execution play the biggest part. if jackson has watched film of burg this year, or the the last few years actually they didnt see anything different. just exactly the same thing burg has done all year. spread em out and throw the quick outs or the roll outs and drag the recievers across the field. mix in some rurns and qb keepers. i am sure if you asked jacksons coaches they will tell you they didnt see anything they didnt expect. just too much miller and miller and very good play at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball by wheelersburg.

then what wrote:I am just saying the beat down that Jackson took from the pirates was unexpected and the coaching did play a huge roll in the outcome. The Hall's are good coaches, but they were out coached in this one. I was surprised that Larry didn't have an answer for the Pirate offense. You can talk injury's all day but in reality with the number of kids Jackson can choose from being division 3 compared to division five it should be noted that coaching made a big difference. If it wasn't coaching then maybe it comes down to HEART, pride and tradition???????????Looking forward to next years game............the pirates will only be better next year!

I think you hit the nail on the head.Larry didn't have and answer because Wheelersburg didn't do anything new jackson had prepared for what Burg ran Friday night. Friday was nothing more than a team that was feeling sorry for it's self and didn't play how
they been taught and not doing the job they where given by the coaching staff. But let me say some boys did play hard that being said it did come down to Heart, pride and tradition and Friday night this team came up short on all three. I hope the coaching
staff lets them know and we as parents and former Ironman let them Know this is not how IRONMAN act they play every game hard and fight to the very end it's just not about them it's about the players before and the one's coming up so if you can't get past
the fact that teams will not just let you win then take off the red and white let a player who will lay on the line step up. These boy's can do it they have the talent and coaching that the teams before them had so don't baby them demand better from them.

That is key with current coaching staff. Pirates come out and hit the tar out of opponents. Each week. A compliment to the coaches who can get the buy in from the players

The Priates beat the Pirates. Ironton just had a few more points.
