Good info Raider. So yes, Logan could have pursued the opportunity, and still could. However, they chose and choose to shy away from that competition. It is good to see the back tracking going on, and comical, since you posted the facts. So Logan attends a meeting and pleads with the league, (which they claim is weak), that they accuse Athens of running to, but show no interest in pursuing a league with stiffer competition. I call that dodging.

It's comical that the envy factor upsets you so. Obviously Jackson has Athens envy too. And TVC envy. It's also comical that you bone heads keep claiming it is an Athens/Logan thread, and then keep writing about other topics. Keep it up though, that Bulldog Green with envy color does fit you.

And that 40-7 win helped you to #13 in your region, since that win as well as all your other wins were against schools less than half your size. While the Buckeyes advanced to the playoffs by beating several schools much larger than they are. So keep beating up on the small schools, and keep your TVC envy alive.

You plug in nelsonville York every chance you get. This thread is anout logan/ Athens. You won't find Jackson in here. You act like nelsonville is relavent in this discussion. Athens is the top dawg in the TVC Ohio. This is the seoal/TVC final showdown of the two big boys. Maybe nelsonville could play jackson on the undercard !

Athens brings back a lot. 2012: athens was sophomore skill and senior bigs. 2013:athens was junior/sophomore skill and sophomore bigs. 2014: Athens was senior/ junior skill and junior bigs. Athens should have a punishing defense this year since the offense won't score in 2 or 3 plays. Seopreps hated on Athens D but Athens had the best defense in this area

I won't argue that , but Logan was good last year and returns a ton as well. I think Logan will be the second best team in the area behind Jackson.

I don't know what happened with Warren but jackson played a good schedule last year and Logan was impressive . Jackson has their all state QB back and also they're fullback and a ton of options at tailback. I see jackson as the preseason number 1 team in the area .

Jackson is hands down the best team in he area by far. How many starters does Athens have returning? Happy to get this rivalry back up and running. That defense might have been underrated last year, but Logan returns a ton of talent next year. I Look for Logan to be a playoff qualifier next year. Take it to the bank.

Jackson's JV team was mainly freshmen. Alot of sophomores started varsity. The varsity, jv, freshmen, 8th were all undefeated. 7th lost a close game to Minford and smacked all the locals .

Jackson should go 10-0. Jackson beat Logan 42-7 and Athens beat Desales 52-20 so Athens was a lot better than Jackson. Hard for me to believe that Logan can make up that much ground on Athens.
