Winner of each plays in week 12

Week 11
2. Marion Franklin hosts 7. Dover
3. Brookhaven hosts 6. Chillicothe

Wow............ Looks like Athens caught a lucky break and will get to play another SEO team in game 11, Logan Elm, who isn't all that tough. Very lucky DeSales didn't make it. Bullpuppies favored with LE.

Didn't matter who was the 8, Athens would be favored by decent amount

Wasn't it like 4 weeks ago they were outside the top 8 and only a couple weeks ago they were at 8 or 9? Now finished at a 3. Inner city could be a whole lot a problems for people. Athens, MF, Brookhaven and New Philly are the only ones with a chance.

I would love to know how you know who the most talented teams are. How much film have you seen of teams other than watching athens beat up on the tvc. You didn't even know f athens would play the 4-5 or 3/6 next but yet you are an expert in talent analysis of region 9. You are as bad as 93 bulldog

I've never talked about any of the other teams in the region and how good or bad they are.

I have been saying the opposite in fact - and that NOBODY KNOWS until they square off in week 11.

But thanks for tossing out the cheap shot.

Region 9 Projection:

#1Athens defeats #8 Logan Elm at home.
#4 Tri-Valley loses to #5 New Philly at home.
Winner of each plays in week 12 so Athens vs New Philly at neutral field. This will be a good game and Athens first real test of year no disrespect to any other teams. I will go with SEO bias and pick Athens but New Philly is rock solid.

#2 Marion Franklin hosts #7 Dover in what will be Region 9's best game of the week, I will go with MF.
#3 Brookhaven hosts #6 Chillicothe and wins.
Winner of each plays in week 12 and I will go MF at a neutral field.

Week 13 MF over Athens but hope I am wrong.

The only difference would be Tri Valley over New Philly

Week 13 Marion Franklin over the Bullpuppies That game might be played at Logan!

DeSales didnt make it because they were not good enough to make it! Get off your high horse!

But they played the toughest schedule, Pol Pot ... that automatically makes them the best team ... didn't you know that?

:)

Yeah they played them a schedule to prepare them for the play-offs, how did that work?

Same with all the Ironton posters who claim the virture of how their schedule prepares them for a deep playoff run. And they had probably the toughest schedule in the State as far as opponents winning %, and how did that work for them?

The problem I'm sure for DeSales or Ironton is also finding opponents who will play them. Ironton will soon fix that problem by going to the OVC. That's a constant problem for a program like DeSales. They either have to play all state powers or a team on the rise that feels like it can go toe-to-toe with the Stallions.

At this time mentioning Desales football and Ironton at the same time is laughable. Desales did have an off season but I am sure they have some type of championship this century. Sadly this can not be said for the once proud Ironton program.

You sure did. Went to the TV/NP game tonight. Honestly, it was a complete mismatch.

Dover must be WAY down. And still not sure how NP hung with Zanesville.

Tri-Valley completely OWNED the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball all night long. NP abandoned the running game early and then it was lights out. Think TV picked off three passes.

TV fumbled a couple of times and muffed 2 punts. Still dominated the game.

Should be a good one next week.

This region took an interesting turn last night. Athens defense was exposed. I thought they were making improvements there but now realize it was just the level of teams they were playing. Puts a lot of pressure on a Burrows run offense to score every possession.

Once again a snappy reply but even 93 can not defend the play of the linemen for the dawgs. Going to be an interesting night. i suggest using alot of three step drops.
