Re: WEEK 8 (4-3) IRONTON @ (6-1) COAL GROVE.
What’s amazing is Ironton fans think that this team is better than what they are showing. I watched previews and burg came and not once did I think that Ironton was any good. Now is that coaching or players? I don’t know but they didn’t look that good.

Unfortunately, Ironton won’t go out and hire a young, enthusiastic, hard charger for head coach. Any and everyone that knows Ironton knows that the next head coach will have a very familiar name...just the way this town works. As long as the BOE is satisfied with being mediocre, it’ll NEVER change.Proud_Pirate63 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2017 12:31 pmIf they do decide to replace the coaching, the worst thing they can do is hire someone close to or within their walls. I believe this program needs a complete reboot with someone not from Lawrence County. Probably will not happen though. Some decision maker's buddy will probably get it or they will keep the current staff. Either way, Ironton will continue down the path of mediocrity. Sad to see.

I did not see this one ending like this but then again I know little.
Congrats to CG on the 28-7 win.

Because a job now depends on it!
Make no mistake, we take all comers. But, I'm so afraid that until we can finally get Coach Snyder here that the talent pool coming in may dry up.

None needed. It's just hard to get that from just a post and lots of Ironton folks have been yelling about this coach since he arrived.
