Two Wolfe’s on the field with a Marquez and a Kritzy. All can catch and fly. Can Staggs guard them all?
Re: WK 8 SOC 2: Waverly (5-2) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
A lot on the line tomorrow night.
West playing to stay undefeated and a potential showdown with Wheelersburg for the league title. West should be in the playoffs regardless but a loss tomorrow night and against the Pirates and the Senators risk losing a top 4 finish and hosting a playoff game.
Waverly fighting to stay alive for a shared SOC title should they win tomorrow night and then West beats Wheelersburg. (Of course Waverly would have to beat Minford).
Waverly fighting for a playoff spot in the very tough Cincy region 16. Tigers are sitting at the eighth spot but a couple higher then them will lose one and one sitting at 9 should lose a couple games.
Waverly should just about lock up a spot if they can get out of West with a win. Don’t think they can crack the top 4 and host by winning out but stranger things have happened.
This one should be a dandy!!!

Re: WK 8 SOC 2: Waverly (5-2) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
Understand bro! U just never know tho, I like this west team. Old school and doing it without a lot of athletes. But they have mojo. Should be a great game vs waverlyJolly P(irate) wrote: Thu Oct 12, 2017 5:51 pmI understand your worry. What I’m saying is this, Burg is going to win out. It doesn’t matter wit West loses their last 3 games. Burg will still be #1. Now, if by chance West wins, they would be #1. I don’t see that happening. That’s why I said points don’t matter. Burg has locked down a home already. Sometimes the math can be fun. In this case it must be, because all that numbers crunching doesn’t mean anything when Burg wins out.seasick80 wrote: Thu Oct 12, 2017 5:06 pmI guess u mean if west wins last 3 games? If burg and west played Friday, west wins, they would have more points than us before u count all other teams wins and losses for that night. Ex: West gains 4.5 for win and 34 2nd level points gives them 34.5 and 136 1st and 2nd level. Burg would still be sitting at 34 and 133.5. Now ur hoping the teams u beat win. Hope I’m reasoning that right. We both have same divisors.Jolly P(irate) wrote: Wed Oct 11, 2017 6:57 pm
It doesn’t matter about points. Burg will be #1 seed even if west drop their last 3 games.

Waverly should do well tonight sounds like they should be at full strength as far health for this time of the season.
As far as there region, it is very good as far as the first four or five.
To get into the playoffs in that region in the top 8 isn't that hard as if falls off a lot after that.
They are a lock at 7 and 3.

Waverly not near full strength as two starting linebackers and Kayne Jordan (top WR & corner) still out.
It’s Friday the 13th, so anything can happen.

Problem is if you sit on the visitors side you need binoculars to see anything that seating is so far from the action.BurgGrad6 wrote: Thu Oct 12, 2017 3:03 pm Looking forward to this game. Re: WK 8 SOC 2: Waverly (5-2) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
I think the key for Waverly tonight is to get the run game going, if they are able to do that I don't think they will have a problem putting points on the board as long as they don't turn the ball over. If Kritzy is able to pick up good yards, it makes the RPO so hard to defend.
Re: WK 8 SOC 2: Waverly (5-2) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
I agree, if they get some good runs on west, which I don't see happening much because west has a very good run D from what I've saw, then it will make the RPO difficult to defendMasterOfNone wrote: Fri Oct 13, 2017 10:08 am I think the key for Waverly tonight is to get the run game going, if they are able to do that I don't think they will have a problem putting points on the board as long as they don't turn the ball over. In both of Waverly's losses thus far, they have had less than 100 yards rushing.
