I did not read the thread so if this has been discussed I apologize. How luck larger would the gate be if this was moved to Thursday? Would most likely be the only game going on.

Portsmouth and Valley have played on Thursday to open the season for a few years now

I vote leave it alone. neither side has the seating capacity to bring more fans in without standing around fences and sitting on hillsides. if both were to make moves to add bleachers that would be fine.

I agree with Bait. Keep the seats for the team fans that'll be buying tickets for the games that arent such a big deal later on.
