i agree. i remember some posts on this topic earlier this week sayin minford by as much as 4 td's. seein some of the predictions i'm kinda glad oak hill won

It safe to say Oaks should run the table from here on out? I really thought Minford would come away with a W tonight, shows how much the Oaks have improved. Get a good week of practice in Minford and get prepared for the Burg next week! Good Luck to the Oaks the rest the way.

Minford is overrated, and the Oaks are overlooked. Not an easy game for either team, but I have a feeling this will be a close, very good game that will come down to the Extra points and conditioning. I am calling it the Oaks win by a TD... 20-14

Not a big Oaks fan. But Minford was running their mouth all week they got what they deserved.

This could be enough to get the Oaks into the DV playoffs. The SOCI schedule could hurt them though and with the likes of Chesapeake, Rock Hill and some of there other non-league teams not winning, it might make it tough.

Minford's playoff hopes just took a big hit. A loss against Wheelersburg next week will put the Falcons on very thin ice, indeed!

The teams that they have beaten, Chessy, Rock Hill, River Valley and Trimble aren't winning. Tonights game should move them up, but do they have enough points the rest of the way coming in to make it.

Trust me, there has been 10-0 teams not make the playoffs. They finish up with East, who is 3-2, ND, who is either 1-3 or 2-3, Symmes Valley, 4-1, South Gallia,0-5 and Green, who is either 3-2 or 2-3. The rest of there schedule is also against DVI schools that aren't winning.


I would love to see them make it. The more Southeastern teams to make it, makes this are look strong

Congrats to the Oaks on a excellent game. Minford did not look as good as they have the other time i watched them play. Hale and Slone are very good players. Hale ran the ball very well and Slone added the air attack. The Oaks derserved to win this game and my hats off to them. But I do have on negative thing to say about the game. What was the penalty differential? I cant think of two plays big plays for Minford that were called back. One being a td to tie the game.
