Nice game both teams.......Good Luck to Logan next week.

Btw....bad calls went both ways. That's the way it goes and the game wasn't close becuase of Canal's mistakes on offense. Remember the refs are human and they don't have replay. It's a judgement call. It's easy for people like us to say it was bad, but maybe he saw something different down there. I wouldn't want his job!!!!

logan travels well. i would think we could fill anybodys home side. i assume we are the home team since we are the higher seed now. which side of columbus is brookhaven on? im not that familiar with the different school districts.

My guess is Gahanna, Field turf. The OHSAA would like to find a field turf field with good seating to not worry about weather issues. Nothing on this side of Columbus in between has turf that I can think of. I think Gahanna

Yep, Gahanna will be it if Ohsaa is smart. It's a very good field with the only problem being parking but they've had a lot of big games there in the past.

angle 22/35
0 int's
255 yards passing

2 passing tds
1 running td

You'd think that would warrant more looks from D1 schools.

Brookhaven has a ton of athletes including some DB's who have D1 offers......coached by former Ohio University QB Anthony Thornton.

East Side. Right up the road from DeSales on Karl Rd I think...

It's about 1/4 mile down the road from DeSales on the other side of the road. If Ohsaa really wanted to I guess they could play the game on DeSales new field across the street. Logan would still bring 15 times the number of fans as the Haven if this were to happen.

wouldnt be surprised if zanesville isnt considered being turf and pretty much equal distance between columbus and logan. its kind of out of the way but neither team would would have a clear advantage. fwiw.

It was a bad call on the botched snap.
It was a bad call on the fumble.
Those calls in no way determined the outcome of this game.
Logan had a physical edge on CW.
Mentally Logan was superior to CW.
They denied CW in the red zone multiple times.
IMO the best part of Logan's game tonight was that when they had the opponent down, they kept them down. That is something that winners do.

Great game by both teams tonight.

Canal played a great game. I actually liked their game plan defensively, and I had a feeling they would throw the ball more on offense.

This game was much closer than the final score. Canal played well.

But Logan made the BIG plays on both sides of the ball when they had to have it. The fumble late in the first half and then the goal line stand in the 3rd quarter were keys.

Great game by Angle and co.

"Survive and Advance" - That's the name of the game at this point.

Greg Frye practically recruited Angle on TV tonight all game long. Someone will get a gem....he'll get an offer.

haven is columbus so they will always get the looks

The more schools you face with D1 talent, the more you will play in front of D1 scouts.

fine game last night fellers , i watched it on sports time ohio, on directv. great crowd, canal winchester had their chances, just could not keep from killing theirselves in the redzone. man, patrick angle is something special, good luck to you all. love to see you and ironton go all the way. they even mentioned ironton last night in your game , saying we had played you, and had been your lowest point output. talking about how many points you all have averaged. rock on. :-D
