Mnford is doing good moving the ball but the holding penalties are killing them. More than likely cost them 1 TD so far.
Re: Week 5 Oak Hill @ Minford
both teams have had 5 penalties for the half. OH for 32 yds and minford for 54 yds.

5 penalties each?
Make no excuses...
Great teams step up.
Other players step up when someone goes out.
If this cannot be done... Its a sure sign of how deep a squad is, and usually how deep a team will advance after each game, leading to the second season.. I hope whomever from whatever team is not hurt terribly, that is always unfotunate... BUT if so, someone needs to step up... Lingering on the hopes of one player is never a win situation...

Yes. There were maybe 3 flashes. Haven't seen any flashes for 15 minutes or so.blondebomb wrote:Great, if I heard right there is a lightning delay. Isn't that 30mns ?

Sounds like a great hard fought game between two alike teams, with a lot of pride, both fans and players. Hope the storm passes soon and they get back to playing. Good luck to both teams when they get back to playing.

Any word on how long of delay? How long will they go until they cancel the game? Then would they play again at a later date?

The rule is 30 minutes after each strike, so if they wait 28 minutes and see another strike then it's another 30 minutes.

Tough to win without 2 of your top 3 skills players being injured but I have faith in the boys.
They wouldn't make excuses and I won't either because the backups that are in will work as hard as ever.
They are fighting hard and can still pull this one out.

I'm with ya MOF, and they have the determination to get it done but they better get on it. They need to hold them from scoring another TD.
