great win by valley. the loss of pendleton is very unfortunate. he had a great career in front of him that is probably shot now. we will have to wait and see.

The Injury made the difference in the game for sure....I don't think that Valley would have won with Trevon spying on #14. The whole West team fell apart IMO after the loss of Trevon. Very bad play call on 4th down at the end of the game....4 and Long...and you run the darn ball off tackle..?!?!!? I just don't understand that at all?!?! Bricker made a nice cut outside and almost saved his coaches A$$, but came up short...so guess what...It was a Horrible call!! In that situation when you have called back to back time outs and you only have one left and 2:45 left in the game you have to throw the ball and hope for the best!! Ona very serious note: Our prayers are with you Trevon!!!!

No hard feelings towards the mods that I pm'd. Good luck to both teams and thanks for the added billboard material to the poster!!!
I got no PMS, was the mods that you did PM at games?

I wasn't at the game, but had family members there. We'll never know "what could have been" if West's great running back hadn't got injured. It's just pure speculation now.

I know for a fact it would've been a different outcome if he doesn't get hurt.....and I think everyone else knows the same!! In all honesty....Valley shouldn't be able to fully enjoy this Victory because of the INJURY!! Well I guess you can only hope that anyhow....I know people getting hurt is part of the game, but this was a kid that had a brighter future than any player on that team!!! For that to happen to him is just flat out sickening!!

Come on QB4 give some credit to Valley.

That was a packed house and a good game tonight.

It is very unfortunate what happened to Pendleton, he is a great player.

You know for a fact it would have been a different outcome? WOW, you must have a great future in fortune telling. Would you care to slip me a tip on the Super Lotto numbers for this weekend?

There was more lost than just a high school football game tonight. Its important to keep that in perspective. Great game by Valley. Yates is a special player. Valley will present a huge challenge to anyone they play the rest of the year and in the playoffs. West will come together and finish strong.

I give them Credit #14 and #23 are great players....just saying as an Individual you can't seriously enjoy a win knowing that a very very good athlete's season and maybe career may be over....that's all. I know I couldn't!! But, maybe thats just me?

Yeah really. Do you have the World Series winner by the way so I know who put my money on? Trevon is a great player but to say you know for sure that he would have gauranteed a win for West is ridiculous. That's as bad as the Oak Hill people whining about losing Sloan. It was an unfortunate injury and I hope he heals 100% and still has a shot at a major college.

Nobody knows if the outcome would have been diff but I do know that his injury DEF hurt the west team. Its just sickening to think that this kid had to get hurt! Prayers to him and his family and we pray he can bounce back and overcome this injury!

I see what your saying. But, in the end, it was a clean play.. and just a freak accident. A win is a win. I'm sure Valley is happy to have it but wish only that it happened when both teams were 100%. However, injuries are part of the game. If Yates would have went down and West won, West fans would feel for him, but they wouldnt make excuses for their win.

It is not a fact it is the truth!!! Sometimes the truth hurts!!!

By the way West should talk to their AD about getting some officials.

What do you mean......I was at the game. I am saying that if Trevon was there to spy on Yates it would have been different. How is that so unbelievable? Anyone who knows anything knows it could have been done! Yates is the player who beat West all night long....they didn't have an answer for him running the ball.

Good Post!!

Please no excuses... that was a great high school game...

I just wish I would have been there early enough to get a seat!! It was crazy trying to get out of the parking lots tonight... it took forever. I wonder how many people were there tonight?

What are Lucasville Valley and West's chances of making the playoffs now.... Are they both in??

I think both will still be in the playoffs, but West will take a huge hit losing Pendleton. My prayers go out to that young man.
