No, I am not, but the post could have been interpreted as somewhat negative. There is too much talent coming back for it to be a rebuilding year. I have no issue with you so don't take it that way. My point was everyone from and/or supporting Minford needs to continue to be positive in what is posted, that's all.

BTW, how did you get my quote in that box? I tried to reply to your quote, but it does not show up the same way.

RogueWarrior1965, to get a quote to show up in the box like this just click on the "quote"icon in the top right hand side of each post and it will show up in the box.

Good luck to the Falcons next year. I see them and the Burg being the front runners for the SOC II race.

Thanks Burg Grad. I look for Minford, 'burg, and West to all field nice teams. The season starts now, so it will be interesting to see who works the hardest. I know Minford is off to a good start.

I was told today that the only team that was dropped this year was Piketon and that was because they wanted Waverly and I heard that we picked up Oak Hill for them so im assuming this is what the schedule will look like:

1. Oak Hill-home
2. Wellston-away
3. Huntington Ross-away
4. Coal Grove-home
5. Vinton County-home
6. Waverly-home
7. Wheelersburg-away
8. West-home
9. Northwest-away
10. Valley-away

Im not sure if thats the correct order but if Piketon is the only team dropped then that should be the right teams and location.

I am pretty sure Vinton County dropped us and River Valley was picked up in their place. It sure would have been nice to add Rock Hill or South Point, but you have to get what you can get once a date opens up.

Learned today that Minford has picked up both Oak Hill and River Valley. I know Oak Hill is a rising program and I know nothing about Rivery Valley.

River Valley is a lot like Northwest, so that is a game that won't help much as far as the playoffs are concerned. I don't expect hardly any 2nd level points at all.

How long is the contract with them? No second level points can really hurt in the latter stages of the season.

that seems to be a tough stretch in the middle of the season. but i'm sure it will help come time for the playoffs. Good thing most of those games are at home. Good Luck in '08 FALCONS!

minford should be a good team next year also...Ethan Hockett is going to have to be the anchor on the offensive and defensive line...he is like 6'6 330. and I hear he is pretty strong to. He needs to have a good off season and come into the season strong

Ethan Hockett will be one of the main leaders on this years squad. Minfords strength and conditioning coach has put him on a diet plan. That will help him lose weight but yet gain strength. He will be a force to be dealt with in the SOC this year.
