Time to get after it and put the goals of the season in the weight room for the 6 AM workouts: Win 10 in Regular Season; Win League; Win Week 13. 2016 needs to finish what 2014 and 2015 started.

The real reason I started this thread was to post who else has openings in week 10 and if any of them would be good matchups for the Ironmen

I also think Portsmouth west and Jackson have week 9 open in 2017-2018

Mifflin got a ton of students when Brookhaven closed. But it seems like a lot of the football players ended up at Beechcroft (along with the coaching staff). But I wonder as you move farther away from kids who actually attended Brookhaven if the Punchers will see their football fortunes rise. With a LITTLE improvement you could see them winning 5-6 games.

Jackson and Midland are in very deep talks about playing in week 10.
Just need to iron out some details before its official.

Wow. I would think Jackson wouldn't take a game of that caliber after a week 9 game against Cincinnati Winton Woods.Not disputing your word but I'd have to see it to believe it!!!

Wow, if the Cabell Midland deal happens, it makes for a very tough Week 9-10 finish for the Ironmen.

Definitely will have them ready for playoffs.

My expectation is another white jacket year and a 10-0 regular season based on what is returning and coming up. Don't wanna jinx them but should be a special year.

With that schedule, even 9-1 should be 1 or 2 seed.

Any idea how long the contract might be with Cabell Midland? If the deal does get finalized, where will the game be next season?

That info might not be available yet, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Its official Cabell Midland at Jackson in week 10
It a 1 year contract.

So in 2017 and 2018 Cabell Midland will need to find 2 games cause Belfry, KY is also a 1 year deal.

Wow!!! What a schedule!!! Cabell Midland lost a lot this year but with a school that big they won't have no problem reloading.Watched a lot of film on them and Winton Woods today.I think Jackson will be ok against Cabell but Winton Woods has a boat load coming back.There a whole different animal !!! Gonna be an exciting year for sure!!!
