Coach Rader would be a great addition to coach the Tiger defense. He is a great coach.

Mr. Rader has been apporached before and i dont think he is intersted about coaching again. he has coached at south before during the Devol era but he no longer does but it is up to him if Coach Schob talks to him but it wont be for defense because im pretty sure Coach Schenk will be there for defense
I dont know whats going on with Coach May but i hope he is back or Coach Boley but maybe we might need a line coach but im sure Coach Schob has a staff in mind already

Is the o-line still going to be in a two-foot stance this year? Not to bag on the o-line coach, but how can you fire out for a run game if your oline is already on their heels? Just trying to figure that one out. Thanks for any info on why.

I wonder why? It may be a zone blocking type scheme, but from a two point stance? I just can't seem to grasp the concept. I mean for definite passing situations I can see, but then every run play would have to be taught like a draw play with zone blocking. Well you could still run wraps and redskin type pulling plays but still the run side would need to fire out..from a 2 point that has got to be hard thing for high schoolers to perfect. Shoot it must be hard for college and pros too, maybe thats why they don't do it.

3 pt. stance this year, my bad, hit the wrong key and didn't look back before submitting.
You are exactly correct Botcowa. Firing out is the reason for the change.

maybe coach schob should poll all of the fathers and people in stands to find out what they should do since they all know more than the coaches

I found this thread languishing on page 4. Sheesh.
How did the scrimmage go? What's the latest?

According to the Times, the Tigers had a great scrimmage with Bellaire.
Looks like they took a page out of Logan's playbook. I'm afraid a few of their fans may have suffered some bad flashbacks, LOL.
Hopefully history won't repeat itself though. The Tigers broke Logan's last long SEOAL winning streak in 2002. It sounds like they'll be ready to knock off the Chiefs this year down at Don Drumm.
Best of Luck to Coach Schob and co., except for week 7 of course

I was being sarcastic BigMcCauley55. I just get to listen to all of them question everything the coaches do in the stands every Friday. They make it sound like they know everything.
