After watching the young Trojans beat a good South Point football team I am going to have to give the Trojans the nod again this week. Their defense at times really impressed me in the big moments of the South Point game. To only give up 15 points isn't bad really. So, I'm going to say Portsmouth by 2 touchdowns this week.

I HAVE A TON OF FRIENDS FROM PORTSMOUTH FROM BOTH SIDES. AND I PICKED WEST IN THE PICKEMS. BASING THIS LOOSELY ON WHAT INFO IS AVAILABLE AT THIS POINT IN THE SEASON. I KNOW PORTSMOUTH STRUGGLED WITH VALLEY IN THE SCRIMMAGE, AND SOUTH POINT IN WEEK 1. AND I LIKE THE HECK, OUTTA COACH TRIPP AS WELL. BASED ON WHAT I HEARD AND READ SO FAR, THIS SHOULD BE A WAR. IF IT WAS A SATURDAY NIGHTER I'D GIVE ANYTHING TO BE THERE. BUT I BELIEVE THIS YEAR, IT MIGHT BE WEST'S TURN ON TOP.

I would love to go see this game but I have to work. I married one them sider girls and we live on the westside now so I will really hear it if the boys in Red and Blue don't come away with a win in this one.

I look for the Trojans to win this one, i don't think West could have gotten 49 points better than last year. Only time will tell though, the weather could have a lot to do with the game. I though i saw where we are supposed to get rain on friday and if tht's the case i think that would help out West considerably. My prediction is Portsmouth 33
