I don't understand why Fairview J.V. team didn't we play them 3 or 4 years ago.

I am being sarcastic. Green only has a varsity squad. What I'm saying is that the Cat's are so young they basically are a JV team. 4 seniors(only 2 having any experience) in my book qualifies as JV. I'm not disrespecting them in any way, just pointing out their youth. They play 'til the whistle blows and that's all we can ask. Sorry to confuse you.

I believe Green was open this week by default. Fairview and Green was going to play week 2 varsity, but with Ky. schools having to re classify this brought about a shuffle in the schedules. JMO

If it gets to the point where a team is soo bad and so small that they have to play a Manchester team, that has never played a football game prior to that game, and then to top that off, have to play a JV team? Give me a break. Fold the program, and let it build up from junior leagues. That is just humilating for the players!

I don't think anyone should jump to conclusions about what happened with Fairview. People do honestly make mistakes. Perhaps Green did not know Fairview was talking about a JV game. I know of no one in Ohio that plays a JV game on Sat. Night. I am not saying that I know if this was a lack of communication or not, I would have no idea. But you can't just say they did it on purpose without any acknowledgment from the school.

As for Manchester, they are a varsity squad! People have to play them or they would not have football. Green has been down over the last decade or so. Why would they NOT play Manchester? Should they play Ironton or Portsmouth? I do not understand your reasoning for attacking Green and Manchester on this point.

you need to get over yourself and get a grip and i do recall other teams playing manchester umm lets see div 4 northwest and to add manchester is div 6 east back to back soc champs and the notre dame titans they went to the playoffs last year and they are playing fairview jv because of scheduling issues and you obviously dont know anything about football because that is how you build a program when it is down by scheduling easier games so you can instill confidence and winning in your players and not to mention get more players to play you arethe one humiliating the players with commints like that you have noooo reason to be attacking green high or its coaches and athletes sooo get over yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
