ive seen him play his arm doesnt match up to angles or westbrooks

time to throw the ball shouldnt be an issue with two linemen commited to a D1 college

I dont know of a game where he has had the chance to throw the long ball. lol....He is a very talented player. How is Marietta doing this year anyway ??

From what I've seen Myers would be a good QB but he has two D1 lineman that can't save his life. Burg had a good QB in Lang until injuries sidelined him. The Ironton QB is very versatile, he practically does everything for the team. From what I've saw this year nobody has really stuck out. The running backs have just stuck out this year.

MariettaPride21-When and where did you see Myers play? I'm sure Westbooke and Angle are fine qb's with great arms but don't sell Myers' arm strength short. I've heard he throws a baseball in the low to mid 80's.

Luckily his stats aren't anywhere near angles or westbrooks
Just cause he can throw a baseball doesn't mean squat

If your a Marietta fan your going to find out just how un-true that statement is.

Cody is a great athlete. GREAT. Not a great QB. Good at best.

I think Alfie Bricker from west is the best QB from the SOC....He has led west to a undeafeted season and he is very good in clutch situations...and he can also scramble very good when his recievers cant get open

I agree............however.........one of the D1 lineman has been moved only to defense now.........the other has been moved to guard and the tackle is now a sophmore..........hmm.......makes one think.

the top two quarterbacks in Southern Ohio are
1.Derek Roback Waverly
2.Pat Angle Logan
Why? Both have great size, arm strength, accuracy, the brain for the position, and number one reason they are SOOOOOOO ATHLETIC!!!

Then I would have to go with
3. Caleb Knights Chillicothe- Athletic, smart, good accuracy
4. Cody Westbrook Marietta- Typical shotgun QB. Lacks size but great arm and vision
5. Jesse Sloan Oak Hill- Not a lot of people know him because he plays for Oak Hill, but he is a very good QB. He has great size, decent arm strength, can move around the pocket with good speed, and very accurate with the ball. Only bad thing is that his team is bad so we cant really see how good he really is.

Man only if Todd Boeckman was in high school this year he might be one of the best Qb's in Ohio at the high school level

Yea but I don't think you can play in high school for 6 years like Boeckman has.

MariettaPride21-you still didn't answer my question. When and where have you seen Myers play? BTW he can heave the pigskin 50+yards. I have seen that!!!!!

Gotta go with Patrick Angle. He is a man among boys on the field which is saying alot considering the rest of the team. Watching him shred defenses game after game is amazing to watch. He's just as good a runner as he is a passer and I can't wait to see what he can do in the postseason. If he doesn't have a decent D1 offer by this time next year the whole recruiting system is on crack. Dare I say that Patrick will be the best quarterback in Logan history by the end of this thing.
