Everyone in the TVC now roots for the Spartans and hopes that Alex can derail the Buckeyes and open the door for someone else to get a share of the TVC Ohio title........................

Alex has played much better this year, but suffered a nasty set-back last week......................

The Buckeyes are coming off of their most dominating performance of the season...............................

Will the Buckeyes be looking past the Spartans :?:

I don't see it. Nelsonville-York will play hard in front of the home crowd and take the next step towards another championship........

Good Luck Buckeyes

Coach Kevin Meade was the Buckeyes coach then................................ Actually, the Buckeyes have ONLY had 3 Coaches in the entire history of the school and they are all in the same family :!:

Dave Boston Sr. (Father)
Kevin Meade (Son-in-Law)
Dave Boston Jr. (Son)

I wasn't sure we thought it was Coach Meade but had a lapse of memory  Thanks!

I never realized that the Spartans have only scored more than two touchdowns in a game against the Buckeyes once (2005 and that was against the reserves). :122246

To me, that is even more impressive than the streak of victories.

It appears that the one "stupid" (not ignorant) Spartan fan has been removed? Not sure about that, but notice there are no posts from him. This is great news, because now we can all have some "good" fun and intelligent conversation on here. I don't know the ins and outs of football (plays, calls, etc.), but I do enjoy reading when people get specific on that stuff...helps me to learn the game. All I am is a loyal N-Y Buckeye alum and fan.........

GO BUCKS...KEEP THOSE WINS COMIN'!!!

if alexander comes out to play like they did against athens, ny reserves will be out there by half time. i do not think that ny will look past alexander cause this is their "fun" game. i hope alexander will come out prepared and will have their heads on straight and make it a game to watch.

GO SPARTANS!!!

AGREED! Not sure what happened to the spartans last night but they looked awful....I couldn't even stay to watch the end of the game. I too, hope the Spartans are more prepared for NY but I have a feeling I will be leaving early from that game as well. I would like to wish both teams a good game and injury free game as well. I will still cheer for my spartans, but think this one will go to the buckeyes.

Sports mom-

Thank you for the wishes of an injury free game. All of Buckeye nation really appreciates that especially with all of the injuries we have suffered through this season.

I am sure you weren't too happy about the outcome of the Athens game, but I got the chance to see your Spartans against Belpre and thought that they looked like a much improved team from a year ago.

Thank again for the well wishes. ;-)

Everyone except Talbert is healthy. I think they had several kids the last few weeks bad colds but I believe they are all feeling good now.

I see 3 of us from Spartan land still here.Seen Wes Meadows was suited up but didn't play, maybe he can Friday. Notice the pattern this year for Alex losse's vs win's? Every other week, so Buckeye nation we just lost to Athens which means we may win against you if the pattern holds up.
Any tailgate'n goin on Friday? I will bring the beer....ROOTBEER that is. :122245
At least we can all have fun now since I see no post from the idiot poster. And the cannon goe's....THUDD

Bucks will make it 36-0-1 vs. Alex. Good luck to both teams. NY has too much. Arnold gets alot of credit, and he deserves it, but NY's o-line is pretty good and dominated just about every game they have played so far this year.
