Re: WK 8 Green @ Notre Dame
Green shot themselfs in the foot in this game with turnovers and getting in the red zone and not getting any points. It could have been 14-7 at the half if not tied. Notre Dame came out in the second half and moved the ball better on the ground and threw a few nice passes one or two for touchdowns.

Re: WK 8 Green @ Notre Dame
Sounds like Green was giving them everything they could handle for the first half!
I think that when we play Notre Dame and we have scored about 40 or 50 points; we need to call a time out with maybe :20 seconds left on the clock and run a trick play and score again with the starters! That's exactly what the ND coaches did to the East Jr. High team the other night!
I also, heard that Darryl Davis was highly upset with the ND coaching staff about pulling this kind of stunt against any kids! I heard that Darryl was very vocal about that and, they threatened to have him thrown out or call the law or something on him! And, Darryl has a nephew that plays for them! All I can say about this is; Thanks Coach Darryl Davis and that ND needs to remember! Karma is a b---h! And, this again just proves the post I made about ND fans and their program! No Class! Holland Benders and the rest of the county are clearly several social levels above them!
So, when we roll over you lets not hear the cry-baby lou's! And, try and show up to the SOC I Assembly on time this year! It's at East High School! You know the place I'm sure! You guys have been late the last couple of years! I don't know why?

Green gave them everything they had, at one point in the first quarter the second string offense for Notre Dame was told to start getting ready if they first string couldn't do anything they would be put in to play the rest of the game since the first string wasnt ready to play.

comment about this east-ND love fest :
The jr high had it coming ---When the soph's were 8th graders 2 years ago at East, last game of the year,East attempted to run the score up on ND . Problem was they were not far enough ahead to do it. Coach (have no clue who it was ) did the following : East up 8-0 with the ball and less than 2 minutes left , ND with ZERO time outs, from their own 30-35 yard line ran 4-5 straight pass plays including a bomb attempt or 2 , passed til the clock expired, which was stupid (you can't run it up when you are up 8-0) and eventually scored again on a pass with less than 30 seconds remaining. So whats go around comes around.
The East HS team is doing great --I thought they acted very well in a very intense game last year with the title on the line , in a game that could have went either way (ND had a TD called back in a 0-0 game late 3rd/early4th quarter) The team played with class. tough but clean.

I'm sorry that idiots like axe n shield have to be on this informative website. His total fabrication of the Notre Dame and East Jr. high game is an insult to both schools, nothing he says is true. I wish this site would only be used for information and scores, not people who have problems with people at other schools, just be a man and call whoever your having trouble with.

Hall has been known to do this throughout his coaching career. I saw him running up the score against NY in a playoff game and when he was at NW.

Just as good as ND!
And, again... this is what I am getting to about the alumni and fan base thinking they are blue-bloods or the elite! Always think you are better than others! That's the kind of remarks that earn you the attitude that you receive!
I wonder how ND students fair to non-denominational school districts? If that is offensive to you then all I can say is... How does it feel? Because in your statement you are in-sin-u-ating they are inferior to ND students in their lives!
Here is a question that should sting alot of the ND folks! How do you folks feel about the 40+ kids that received vouchers to go to your school and none of those vouchers could be used for students already attending?

Re: WK 8 Green @ Notre Dame
I speak for approximately 95% of Notre Dame when I say the vouchers are one of the best programs that we have. I wish they were permanent. ND's size would increase dramatically. There are a few(some you have spoke of before --- situations you have spoke of before) that do not represent the views or conduct of the majority. Please don't group the whole school and community based on a few. I have not and will not do it to Sciotoville.
I went to public schools for 8 years and would not trade the experience for anything. But I along with alot of the transfers that came in from New Boston years ago have confessed to each other that Notre Dame was one of the best things in our lives -- providing us with a top notch education and shaping our views for the future and giving us roots and a family we will have forever. Bringing in the kids from Portsmouth is awesome. I have watched kids and their parents come into the system and get the feel for how strong of an extended family it is. The kids from Portsmouth will benefit from the structure and support of this family. We believe in the school/community and what the structure and disclipline can do. We wish we had an extra 100 kids --- good for them they are getting a chance they would not have otherwise had. We have worked hard -- administration and board members to inform kids of these opportunities.
Notre Dame is a very dedicated and hard working group of people who have to work to keep the funds coming in. We work together, fund raise together, go to church together. There are outside misperceptions -- sometimes the only time they are dispelled is when you truly get to know more than those that draw negative attention to themselves. There are good ones too --- just need to keep your eyes open for them also.
oops -- I have got to get going -- Football Friday night.
Best of luck to all teams --- good games and no injuries.
Peace out.

I was just responding to whoody's comments about after school comparisons with ND & East graduates! This is exactly what I was talking about.

There are a ton of others who say different and saw different on how the game transpired! It is a well known fact from past experiences with all teams. Pee-Wee to High School, these are typical tasctics of most Notre Dame coaching staffs! No knee taking this year on extra points against Manchester either! About every other team that has played them has choose to do this! But, not you folks! Just saying! the proof is in the pudding!
As far as, wishing this site was for people without problems from other schools! Calling people names on here is just as bad! Just think if you couldn't have got on here to say those things! See you at the meetings you, not so intellectually inclined... fabricating story teller!
