Surely the powers that be can find enough stadiums with rugs and adequate seating to make the playoff experience more enjoyable for the participating schools.

I dont have a dog in this fight, but to me the mileage isnt as important a consideration as the venue once you get there. I would rather drive an extra hour if necessary to find one.

There is no place between chilli and logan elm with turf. to get somewhere big enough and with turf you are talking going to C-bus or somewhere further south. teays is as good of place as any for this game. I look for this game to be a good pickaway county V ross county game.

We went up to Teays Valley today. The distance is really a short drive from Chillicothe. And that is great. Chillicothe is going to play well any place they are blessed to play a second game. Their last playoff game in 2006 with Bishop Watterson when the CAVS were still DII, was on the old Columbus North High School Field which was an old football field to play on.

But with that said, McArthur Vinton County's New Football Stadium with natural turf is larger than Teays Valley. It is close to both schools likewise too! A true neutral site. I don't know if VC petitioned to hold a playoff game or not? Our CAVS will be ready to play if they have to play in a farm field. GO Cavs, lets continue the winning streak against the MSL and show them what the SEOAL is all about.

GO CAVS :!:

GO SEOAL :!:

Vinton County is scary after the sun goes down. Don't know too many Chillicothe people(including me) that would want to be in the woods after dark. Just kidding of course, but seriously....

I think the distance would have been about the same....with a bonus of being a neutral site. Most likely VC did not apply as a site for the OHSAA playoffs. Teays Valley's field is much smaller than VC's new Stadium. It's ironic to make fun of one of the local schools, football fields, that is actually close enough, to both Chillicothe and LE.

Kind of reminds me as one did earlier, making fun of a certain poster on here who had poor writing skills and the poster explained why.

If memory serves me right, I think 20-to-30 posters defended the one that explained why, and someone did not post on here for a long time. :-D

But hey, it's Teays Valley where we will be playing LE at. Chillicothe and Coach D will have to be prepared. Bart always puts a great game plan together and will have his Braves ready too. He has did the unexpected at LE this year. What an outstanding job he has accomplished. Heres to a great game and injury free played one. GO CAVS...keep the winning streak going against the MSL.

This is a prelude to basketball season........I see these same two schools playing the regional..........

Congratulations to Logan Elm for going 10-0 after going 0-10 last year..........

OMG! Bird is picking the Cavs.I bet that one hurts.lol Smart man though. I know that both teams beat the CW Indians, but if the red zone offense gets better and the Cavs start scoring when they get down there, I see a BIG win for the Cavs. I think they'll beat them by 2-3 TD's.That's IF the red zone offense quits petering out inside the 10. "Metzlers maniacs" are just too tough.11 crazies flying to the ball!
I'm with Bird...not a Braves fan....went to Liberty Union, and we beat them on a goal line stand to win the MSL back in 87 and advance to the playoffs. Now the Braves are D3 and the Lions are D5.
Go Cavs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally both teams are weak....CAVs should have beat canal by 50 pionts due to there size advantage..and the reason why they won is cause a senior fumbled the ball on both logan elm and cavs game resulting in a loss...whoever wins thhis game will be knocked out by sheridon.

Let's go Cavs keep the SEOAL alive and marching forward. I personally think that the league has a possibility of having representatives, playing in 3 divisions on T-Day weekend.

I think the CAVS offense explodes this weekend against the Braves, putting up a lot of points. The CAVS will show the MSL what the SEOAL has. The defense keeps going strong and the CAVS represent Chillicothe and the SEOAL in the playoffs, going into week 3.

Thanks for clearing that up, Hitchens!!!! Good thing there was only 1 reason BOTH Chilly and LE beat Canal... would hate to think the other 75 or so plays in those games had anything to do with the outcomes. Go Cavs!!!

playcalling has got to improve this week. Treat Caleb like the experienced Vet that he is. Trust him and the Cavs win. Run the same 2 plays all night and Coach Bart will shut it down.
