All i know is out of the four classes piketon will have next year 9-12 three of them won the Junior high SVC title...plus they are returning Tyler Tackett who avreged 9.7 yards per carry last year....the best player in the League Caleb Southworth....Jordan Miller, Tyler Adams, Taylor Tackett, Ben Irvin, All the guys have been playin Varsity since they were freshman....IT's time boys...step up and do something

Southworths dad told my dad they are moving here to Waverly next year he don't get the ball enough in Piketon. Go Tigers keep em comming in....

as I have read through the threads pertaining to the SVC I got to ask why would any players want to go to Huntington? why would they leave a program to go to one that is about or at the same level as the one they are already at?
If they were really that good would they not be looking at program at chili, waverly or to stay in the league westfall PV or adena would be a better choice than huntington

tarheels 18 the junior coming from piketon his name is jon hettinger he is 6ft tall and weighs about 185 or 190 he is going because his family lives up there and!!!
and because his dad dosent get along with the coaches and piketon wont play him because they dont like his dad...

The reason why hettinger don't get to play is because he can't play the game.

the key players for the huntsmen will be
(the wide recievers jon hettinger and clint turner)
(there runningbacks wich are brandon pain, scottie perkins, ronnie hettinger,and dyer)
(the qb spot is good also with mitchel runnig it)
and defence jon hettinger plays dend ronnie hettinger is moving down to dend or might stay at linebacker clint turner can play cornerbackor saftey brandon pain cornerback and scottie im pretty sure he is a linbacker not postive though he might be a cornerback

If Southworth transferred to Waverly he and Roback would break a bunch of yardage records. Wow, what a combo that would be.

roback and southworth would be very similar to other combos they have had..
i would not say better than what they have had as they have had some amazing combos for small school level football... for any level football dont get me wrong but the fact that they were d4 is unreal

That makes no sense at all. He led the league in receptions. He had a dozen more catches than anyone else in the SVC. Do you think he would get more than 50 receptions splitting passes with Kretzer and the other Waverly recievers?

because perhaps there is more to life the sports? I know the boy you are speaking of, we are freinds with his family, its just a better situation for them......if you dont know the situation I would suggest you just continue with your ongoing love affair with your boys at Westfall.

Then I would suggest YOU learn how to read. for one I was NOT just referring to the kid from SE. there have been comments on other Kids going to HHS this next year from Piketon.
Second due to the location of some of the kids mentioned I first said why not Waverly and Chilli. only putting Westfall, PV and even Adena in the mix later.
Third IF it the transfers were for other reasons than SPORTS then why even bring it up in the football forum. BTW the kids from piketon the reasons given on this forum was because of lack of playing time and/or conflicts with their current coach. sooooooooooooooooooo that would indicate transfering due to athletics.

BUT I guess you just only PARTIALLY read my post HUH and took from it what you wanted instead of it's true intent

Interesting, I do believe that Piketon has had a bit more success then either HHS or SE, therefore perhaps you need to be a little more specific as to which players you ar reffering to. Didnt mean to rattle your cage.

Flashing cursor is right about southworth(dale storm). he wouldn't leave piketon, , 2 go 2 waverly because they have kretzer and the other good recievers and with dereck roback at QB who runs the ball all the time he wouldn't get the ball not even 50 times, and to all you tiger fans,wake up from your dream world, you will never see southworth in a waverly uniform.

If southworth does move to waverly it would be a smart move because roback will bring in a lot of scouts

no mstangmom the reason why the kid from piketon is switching schools is because the coach dont like his dad!!!!!!!!! and im not sayin piketon didnt have a succesful season !!!!! he is moving because his family is all up there so thats why!!! and whos to say that hhs wont have a succesful season if they get a new coach

Waverly is traditionally a passing team. Roback only ran because he had to.

If he had Southworth to throw to it would be something to watch, I think everyone will agree with that.
