Div III First team offense consists of

4 receivers
2 linemen
2 quarter backs
5 backs
1 all purpose
1 kicker

total 15......two linemen? I thought the SEOAL selection process was bad.......this is worse. If they can justify putting that many receivers, QB's and backs, why can't they just add at least three more linemen? If a first team can consist of 15 players, why can't it consist of 18? Regardless of someone's excuse/explanation, there is no legitimate excuse or explanation. People who do this do not deserve to be in the position to name this team.

Pappy1 I totally agree. All of the other districts have two complete teams and honorable mention. The SE Ohio All District is a popularity contest. No respect for the linemen. The people that put this together for Southeast Ohio should be ashamed. Please get this corrected !!!!

I have read that we do not have first and second teams because there are not as many teams in this district as there are in the others. That is an acceptable reason why they only have a first team. There is no acceptable reason why there is only two offensive linemen on this team. Further more players who make first team all district will tell you that when the selections are announced they hear from colleges that that they previously had not heard from. Linemen should have this opportunity to get a look because of all district honors. The 'skill' players on these teams would not have the stats they have without the big uglies in front of them. I have a son that was an all league QB. I am not just beating on the lineman's drum. I am a football fan. You never hear the PA announce that #59 John Doe made a block that sprung the back loose for an 80 yard TD. Why are we taking the all district honor away from them too.
