What D1 schools are courting the three players?

Can't remember last time a SE Ohio school (except 2014 Athens), had 3 commits in one year. Pretty impressive.

Webb is a d1 athlete
The new kid probably is if the stats are true.

That's two, not sure about the other one.

By the way sciotoville east has two D1 players as well.

Let's just say that all three have plenty of interest from more than one division one school. Each one of them could inform you of what schools etc. The "new" kid only left Ironton for a year, but didn't play football at Ironton since 6th grade. I'm sure they will all show why they are being looked at this season. They have a very good group surrounding them also. Nice looking group.

Does the 3rd player's last name begin with a W?

Wow, 4.4 Forty-Yard Dash

Apparently Billy Hamilton, Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders type speed in Ironton this year. Good Luck to the Tigers.

I will just say that Ironton has some good looking kidos on their team. The kid who's speed was referred to as Billy Hamilton like, lol, has grown since the last time I had seen him run. Back then he was a blur. When he ran the two 4.4 40's on Friday he looked as though he was jogging. He could be a game changer. If this team stays healthy, it could be a good season.

I went to practice today, not bad for the first day. The line is going to be much smaller than we're used to seeing (except Webb), much quicker off the ball for sure. Looks like we have a Freshman Kicker that has a good leg and is a decent Punter. The backfield looks to be really good with good speed.

The kicker is a senior, wish he was a freshman. He is a dandy. He wears the red because all that he is going to do mostly is kick.

He's got a leg on him, he was kicking 30 yard Field Goals that was above the top of the Goal Post.

A D1 running back in D5 rushes for 2500 yards and beats coldwater by 30. Happened with Ursuline

I heard he also blocked for himself, played cornerlinebacker and made every tackle.

From what I saw out of the team, they have a lot of talent, the group has a chip on their shoulders this year with everything to prove. This group of seniors were looked on by many a few years back as the next great Ironton team. With a number of injuries and a few of them over the years deciding to play only one sport, this group has never come together. Until... I believe with the amount of kids who have made it back on the team this season who haven't played for a while, along with the younger classes having the wholes plugged in, it could get real interesting. Our receiving corps look great, the backfield looks awesome and the line may have a couple of spots filled with shorter, but very quick and strong kids. Let's all sit back and see what this bunch of kids put together this year. It is all up to them what happens from here.

I'm really not too sure how small we are going to be this year. We have a 6'6" 300 pound tackle on one side of the line and a 6'7" 325 pound tackle on the other side of the line. The center is 6'2" 240, while the guards could be a number of guys, currently one is 6'3" 240 and the other is 6'3" 220. I wouldn't say that is a small line, however there are a few kids hobbled right now that could jump into that mix that are a bit shorter, but very quick and strong. Again, this group is shaping up to be a good looking group. Competition among these kids should be furious this season thus it should help to get the team ready to play later into the game..ie 4th quarter.

What grade is the 6'7 325 lb kid in. He's a big boy, I don't see him playing both ways though. It Sure was fun watching him and Webb going at it during one on one line drills.
