Best Players in Southeast Ohio?
Re: Best Players in Southeast Ohio?
I agree with A-Town Big Dog. Chris Russell for Athens is one of the best high school players I have seen in many years. He plays almost every play of the game, never comes out on special teams, is a devistating blocker, best open field tackler I have ever seen and has a great nose for the ball. Give him the ball and he will make things happen also.

After the GAHS vs Chillicothe game, Coach Hinton said that GAHS lined up and ran behind #71 and we couldn't shut it down. #71 for GAHS is Aaron Guisinger.

From What I have seen I would say of the best are Offensive Austin Osborne, Defensive Jaylen Prater

Make know mistake about it the Pirates are a very good young football team that jumped from boys to men in six games but the success of the team has fallen on this young mans shoulders, I have also heard from people in burg and on the outside that he is being pursued by several D1 schools?
You can't believe everything you read in the PDT. Shears is a great athlete and I really enjoy watching him play, but he doesn't have 1,646 and he has 19 TD's, 11 rushing and 7 passing and one on a 99 yard Int return.
These are the stats for him listed on BurgFan.co. and I believe these way before I would the PDT. This is through 7 games.
