I have seen alot of Nelsonville york teams..And if i have to pick right now..they are in the 3rd..But the season not over..they could go to 1 depending what they do as far as winning..I think they got a shot..

81--94---11-97..........This years team is more balanced than 94-97 team..
Ny has about 7-8..kids they can choose from..on any play..skill kids are VERY GOOD...Team speed just scary..
Probally the fastest NY TEAM EVER...6..Games in and they havent been challanged yet..i was talking to some team scouts and he thought wellston was fast till he watched NY..

Newark cath. beat bexley and i think they were ranked 5th in D3 that gives ny some points... i siad last week that NY would blow out wellston i say they do the same at meigs, but if meigs scores it will only be once imo.. To many weapons.. imo NY wont be tested untill week 10, even then NY has the edge on D over all the tvc, and team speed and the most weapons on a single team imo.. GO BUCKS 1-0 EVERY WEEK

One game at a time. First of 2 games on high wet grass. We will see how that affects their speed. you know Alex will have the same kind of field.

There is no more of a die hard Buckeye fan than myself, but talk about some trash talking. I believe NY will put up a ton of points this week too, however the kids need to keep their focus on one game at a time and put them away in order as they come. Keep up the good work Buckeyes!!!!

I wonder what condition the field will be in at Meigs? I also wonder what magic Alex is working on their field? I hear their mower may be broken, so we should volunteer to mow it for them next week! :122245

I'd love to see Alexander's water bill at the end of October from their preparation for when NY comes to town.

I was planning on posting a thread at the end of the season comparing all of NY's undefeated teams to each other: 1981, 1982, 1992, 1994 and 1997. If this year's team goes 10-0, I will add 2011 to the comparison as well!

The tall blades of grass at Meigs and Alex will test NY before Athens does.

Re: Week 7: Nelsonville-York (6-0, 1-0) @ Meigs (4-2, 0-1)
NY has won at NC, BR, Trimble all grass. Home vs BU, Logan and Wellston.

Looks to me like NY already won so Meigs you got nothing else to lose. Go out and givem your best. IT"LL TAKE UR BEST and SOME
