It is true that you cant teach talent, you either have it or you dont. But with HEART and DETERMINATION, you can take it out of someone, but you cant put it in them.

If you can't put heart and determination into an athlete, then you shouldn't be coaching.

Couldnt disagree with you more. Sure most people can be motivated by someone else, for a short period of time, but to do it on their own is to have heart and determination. That cant be coached into someone.

Im pretty sure the military could do that...

It's a team sport. To win, you have to have talent. The players have to motivated. But the secret is to get 11 guys to play as a unit at one time. The total has to be greater than the sum of its parts.
