Gallipolis has always had decent teams and it sounds like here in a year or two they may be back to where they were if the JV's played that well in this game. A new coach and a new system usually take a year or two to get the right chemistry and players involved. If this guy was a defensive coach at Parkersburg then it would stand to reason that they would win between the tackles this evening because the interior line play is easier to teach from the start than that of the backers and backs with coverage, stunts, reads etc. Sounds like when they have a little more time to get on the same page, the SEOAL may have to deal with a very good Blue Devil team again in the near future. This is a good coaching staff we have and they will get those defensive problems fixed. I'm sure.

Just wondering how many of the old Saunders staff are now on the Blue Devils current staff?
