WK4 Point Pleasant @ South Point

South Point is definitely not on their game this year. I don't see anything getting any better when they enter OVC play. They'll be lucky to go 2-8 this year and not finish last in the OVC. As for Shilot and the coaching staff, I would have to say they are less than good coaches at most. Their trying to fit players into an offense that is not made for this team and hasnt been made for this team since they began coaching. One of South Point's problems is the off season workout/weight lifting program which is horrible. By far one the worst I have ever seen. But hopefully South Point can get it going before they start conference play.

for the off season workout to work the players have to ATTEND. I dont how you got that about the offense not good for the players cause it sure worked last year cause South Point moved the ball up and down the field against every team they played it was the defense that hurt us.

and I bet shilot would love to know what offense these kids should be running so let me know so I can pass it on to him

First of all mcstephen you wanna go callin names, I'd watch what you say and to who you say it. You a first year player, and you think you know everything, you aint even close to that. You wanna get on here and worry about this site so much, you a senior why dont you worry about trying to stop somebody instead of getten on here an worrying about this so much. And if you wanna know how I know what that workout is like, its because I went through that summer workout and it was a joke, they have no idea about strength and conditioning even if the kids did show up what they do wouldnt work. And the only reason the offense was succesful last year was cause South Point had a big enough running back in Seagraves. So before ya'll go running your mouth saying I don't know nothin, you might wanna re-think that.

first off doug dillion and ryan plants had their share of touchdowns in this system so no its not the back its the line that makes the team go. Yeah seagraves was a freak athleate and could bail the line out sometimes but when a back is getting hit 3 yards behind the line every play like this year then idc who you have running the ball your not going to be successful. So the system does work if the line would just block.

This team is more speed and not power. This is a very small team, and with two backs who do not have great size in the backfield its very tough for this to work. And yeah the offensive is pathetic for the most part. They need to mix it up and start running screens with the backs and do bubble in and bubble out plays. The offensive line is getting man-handled at the line so let them go out to space and see what they can do out there and give your backs a chance to get out in space and make a play.

I have said all year that doug needs to be moved back to fullback cause he has more power and speed then who they have there now and have Will run the ball more.but this offense either needs a great line with a small back which wayne had a really small back last year and it worked or a average line with a big back which we had last year with seagraves. I totally agree with the passing part dickess can wing the ball down the field and sometimes that works against him. But i dont think the space thing would help the line but thats just me.

I dont think the giving the ball to Will would work. He aint got the talent in my eyes honestly. Not big enough, fast enough and cant make people miss. But with the line why not put em out in space? What their doin now aint workin at all, so what could it hurt.
