Not so fast. It may take some help, but at #11 after week 6, Burg still has definite playoff possibilities. Burg's remaining opponents are 15-9. There are lots of points out there and the playoffs aren't too far fetched. Also take a look at the teams in 1-10 right now. Most of these teams still have opportunities to lose a game or 2 along the way. Region 19 is very competitive again this year and there will be lots of changes before it is all said and done.
Barnesville - remaining opponents are combined 16-7
Caldwell - remaining opponents are 19-5 (3) 5-1 teams and (1) 4-2
Monroe Central - remaining opponents are 15-9 (2) 5-1, (1) 4-2
Ridgewood - remaining opponents are 15-9 including a 6-0 and 5-1. 3 remaining opponents are also D6 which would result in less points even if they win.
NY - remaining opponents are 15-9 including 6-0 Athens and 4-2 Ironton
Oak Hill - remaining opponents are 11-13 and all are DVI. They should win out, but will likely fall a few spots due to DVI competition with under .500 records
Coal Grove - remaining opponents are 5-19
Basically, Burg should be able to make the playoffs if they win the last 4 games. Of course this is a challenge in the SOCII, but there is still a lot of football to be played. 8-2 should be good enough to get us in the post season.
