To many mistakes cost us the game against Wellston. Gotta play smart. We have several players playing varsity for the first time this year. Looking for Minford to win this one. Falcons will keep improving as the season moves forward.

Well was looking forward to listening to the webstream provided by Retro 92.1 but no sound. Called them at 7:10 but they said to give it a minute to catch up. That was 24 minutes ago, so hopefully someone might be at the game updating...
Go Falcons!

All in all this a test game for both teams. The one with the fewest mistakes wins.

I'll take Meigs in a close one at home...

Meigs 13
Minford 6

do you even watch football????
minford 35-0 at half if not sooner

Spot on!!

What is wrong with Minford? Thought they would be better than they are showing. This is not a strong Meigs team in my opinion and they just took Minford out behind the woodshed!

I expected Meigs to play a good game at home, they are much harder to beat in Pomeroy than when they travel. I'm surprised by the margin of victory but not totally stunned with a Meigs win.

When we scrimmaged Meigs this year, I tried to tell people that they were much better than last year and had a few people scoff in disbelief. I'm not saying they're ready to compete for a league title, but they're definitely improved. Congrats to the Marauders on a big win.

Once again special teams comes back to bite the Falcons in the rear end. Two botched punts within the 20 sets up 2 Meigs TD's. Minford is like Jekyll and Hyde. One week playing great the next they cant do the simple things to win a game. They came out flat tonight and a very game Meigs team took advantage. Congrats to the Marauders on very well deserved victory

First of congrats to Meigs, they have some talent. They had a great game plan and played oppurtunistic football and came away with a big win. Hats off to them.

Minford just could not do everything right on the same play. It seemed like there was at least on breakdown on every snap of offense. Defense played well at times but when you get backed up like they did it's tough to keep a team with any talent out of the endzone. The talent is there for the Falcons, what they seem to lack is leadership. I'd hate to think I'd let my senior class go down as the one that broke the streak of playoff appearances, not because the team wasn't good enough but because there just wasn't the determination to do it.

Minford has one week to get all the garbage squared away before SOC II play starts. I'll say this if they put this effort out for the rest of the year it will be a 5-5 season, or worse. I won't hit the panick button yet, but there are some real issues that need sorted out and time to do so is running thin.

Ironfalcon i can only think of a few seniors that are trying to put this team on their back but unfortunately there is only so much a few can do.
