New Lex and NY would be a great rivalry if they played. How has New Lex done against Sheridan over the years past 20 lets say? New Lex is that much bigger than Sheridan is of New Lex, but I think NY would give you all you can handle and then some. Go Bucks!

No Buckeye envy here, when I lived down that way for around 30 years N-Y didn't win anything that I can remember. As a matter of fact, they ran from the SEOAL during my time and helped start the TVC. Oh yeah, that's right, that's when they started winning. My bad !!!!!

I don't dislike N-Y at all. I just try to speak the truth. They will find out after the first 5 weeks this year how good they really are and if they win the bulk of those games they will make the playoffs and win the TVC, if not they may miss them for the first time in awhile. The New Lex statement I made above is just what I feel would happen if the yearly N-Y schedule included them , nothing more nothing less. Too bad it will never happen. Have a great day !!!!!

Anyone knows you can't compare our score / your score scenarios just because they both played Logan those years, that is a ludicrous comparison when they didn't play each other.

I am sure if noreply66's stats would have favored NL the records over that period of time would have meant something to you but since it was even they mean nothing. Teams around here go through cycles and i am sure there would have been times when N-Y would have b-slapped NL and vice-versa but to think NL would own N-Y forever it just plain stupid!

In College bowl game they are always putting up were the two team play another team and compare the scores.
And in high school it happens more.

It even happens a lot in the NFL play-offs

It's not bashing. The "Buckeye Nation" as you call it is comparable to, let's say the MAC in college circles. Every year it's let's win the MAC (TVC), we are the best, no one can beat us, etc. Ok so then you have this gaudy record and are beating your chest and want all comers then comes the bowl game (playoff game) in high school and you play a team (your size) except they have the players with skills above and beyond what you have and the Bucks lose. Then the excuses come like rain and it's always someone else's fault (refs, field, weather, other teams fans). I can respect teams with fans like Ironton and Wheelersburg who also have good baseball and basketball teams to go with their outstanding football teams and have consistently done well over the years in the playoffs in most sports but N-Y, you guys need to lighten up. You won't talk smack when you play the Ironton's and Wheelersburg's of the world in the playoffs or regular season but alway do (in football only) when you play the TVC teams. By the way, the real Buckeye Nation is here in C-BUS, good day.

FANOSPORTS, I'm not from NY, but I will say they have had some good football teams over the years. In the early 80's they had some real good teams, if I remember right I think they had some players off those 80's team to play D1 and now Jay Edwards is playing D1. For their size they have done real well over the years.

I do believe NY has as much right to call themselves Buckeye Nation seeing how even The University of Ohio State stole it from " The Gator Nation ".
Lighten up fanocrap, you may find this hard to believe but NL is not..............never mind you wouldn't understand!

Put New Lex on the schedule then or quit beating your chests with all those TVC juggernauts in your road. It's no wonder the TVC Ohio hasn't won a playoff game in years. They never come prepared with the schedules they play. N-Y has a great schedule and could win the TVC this year by going 8-2 or 7-3 easily with their non-conference schedule the first 5 games. Stay tuned !!!!!
