I should add Kurt Roberts of Athens. Ashland, won two D2 indoor and 1 outdoor national titles. Won the gold medal in 2010 in shot put at NACAC. In 2014 he finished second at USA indoor championship. He was also ranked second in the world. He is still young in his career but hopefully Athens own Kurt Roberts will compete at the 2016 Olympics. Also ohsaa state champ

Sarah Vaughn Three-time All-American in the pool and in the classroom ... All-state four years ... State champion in 100 breast during junior year Ohio swim.

I was just getting ready to say you should add Kurt Roberts haha. Didn't go to a major D1 college but still noteworthy. 3x NCAA D2 Champion, I wanna say something like 6 0r 7x All-American. And of the best shot putters in the world.

Ohio University. Was on the team that went to the elite 8 and was the only player drafted to the NBA (Detroit Pistons) from that team. Number 56 overall.

Also, his teammate from Corning, Charles Gill was also on that Ohio University Elite 8 team.

Kelly Stiwell...pitcher at Ohio State during their NCAA championship in the 60.
If i remember right Kelly relieved Steve Arlin in the championship game.

Where did Mitch Wright go to college?

Jeff Montgomery (Marshall, KC Royals HOF and all-star)

Allan Hammond and Chafin from the 80's both played fairly high minor league baseball....not sure if they did college first
