I'm looking for a close game but one where Logan's inexperience shows. I hope they could win, but don't think they are ready yet. However, only think they'll lose the first two games. Once they get some game time in, they'll stream roll alot of teams again.

lancaster by three scores
Just b/c Logan isn't picked by a bunch of fans, doesn't mean they won't be any good. :122249 This isn't the first time Chieftain Nation has heard 'Welcome back to Earth' and proven everyone wrong.

I'm gonna go with Logan 24, Lancaster 21.

I agree ... The first two games will be hard to win .. But, this will prepare them for the rest of the season...

Don't be surprised if Lancaster upsets Ignatius in week 3, I'm hearing the Wildcats are really down this year which is unusual for them.

They'll be ready, last week I heard a bunch of players wouldn't participate in the Sheridan scrimmage due to injuries, but I only noticed a couple players out.

Thanks LG and noreply.

Craig, as always, has busted his butt to put out a great Chieftain football preview. I'm glad to be a part of the Chieftain football coverage and look forward to another great season of Chieftain football!

Mixed feelings on this game. I do think it will be close. I thought Sheridan and Circleville both had pretty good teams and tough kids. Circleville had a couple fast backs, the Chieftains were tested there. Sheridans line was not the typical big, strong brutes Logan faces most scrimmages, and they didn't have the speed at reciever and backs to test Logan down the field. The QB was very good, got tested there, better start wrapping up better. Next couple of weeks should move alot faster. Cant get a good read on Lancaster, depends on who you talk to. They will have good depth, could be a key factor. Kicking a plus, looked real good. Should be close.

Ok kids, here it is, It is going to be a rough start for the Chiefs. We have to replace to many outstanding players from the 2009 team. From what I see we are going to have problems with our O Line until they gain some game time experince. I am concern about our QB, the game must start slowing down for our QB, to many bad decisons in the passing game. The running backs will be the strong point and they might have to carry the team until mid season! The D will improve as the season wears on, will miss Dale coaching the D. Special teams should be solid and thats where most of the early season points will come from. Overall I look for the Chiefs to continue to improve though out the season and if we are able to avoid very many major injuries a 7-3 record is possible. All this being said, Friday night it will be.

Logan 10
Lancaster 28
