Huntington will NOT lose this game. Northwest can not compare to SVC schools. they lost to Southeastern for god sake, Huntington put up a fight against Alex, and shoul have won the game, costly turnovers. and that was it. Everyone will see on Saturday morning when they see in the paper that HHS wins big and contains their first victory.Believe that

Thats not hard to do greengrass. Huntington never really feilds a decent JV, they get so few boys out that their best payers are put on the varsity regardless of age. sometimes by mid season they are lucky to even have a JV

That's pretty pathetic to say Huntington should of beat Alex. Fumbles are part of football. Alex has a lot of athletics kids on the field that make plays. Alex has had a ton of penalties and mistakes there self. They have had to shift a lot of players around because they had 3 key starters out against Huntington. This game went from running up the score to Huntington should have one. Pick a side and stick with it. Maybe if Huntington ever led the game you might have a point, but..... No

Its all about matchups, I know you can use logic and say: if southeastern is worse than huntington (which I'm not sure of yet) and Northwest lost siziably to Southeastern then one would think Northwest would get whipped by Huntington, but it doesn't work that way in sports...I think even though Northwest isnt the best squad by any stretch, there is some talent there more than one would think, and I believe if they can get Luke Brown going and mix in some passing game to Crabtree then they have a good shot to move to 2-1

Really??? The SVC has one school with a winning record 2 games into the season and that's Piketon. I think Northwest will win this game and Huntington will have trouble bringing down Luke Brown. He is a very good, hard nosed runner. Good luck to the Mohawks.

Huntington is not a better team than Southeastern. I hope they can beat Northwest but they just don't seem to have enough playmakers on the field to keep teams from scoring. Good luck Huntsmen!!

Got to like this game. It is a chance for a win by both teams, and both will play hard.

Actually 2, SE has won both games AND beat Noerthwest in week 1 and pretty good too
Southeatern 34 Northwest 6

And seriously thats comment from HAHA was prob. the most truth he has spoke on preps in a long time NW would not compete with the SVC, Huntington maybe but the svc as a whole no

NW played home and home with Piketon and ZT for years and they were pretty even. Don't take SE for granted. They looked a lot better than East.
NW changed up their O and D line a bit, and they looked a lot better against East than SE.

Haha- Your JV team is your future.

Just like the rest of the SVC could not compete in the SOC with WEST,BURG,MINFORD,VALLEY GO MOHAWKS. The rest of the SOC is pullin for ya. PROUD TO BE A WEST SIDER AND PROUD TO BE PART OF THE SOC.

Yeah, I remember the thumpings the Burg used to put on Paint Valley every year back when they played.
